More good news: Chris Haynes says Kawhi could be back for the Finals if the Clippers can make it there!

Why are we ruling the Bucks out? Guys made this mistake last night when Trae couldn't play and I got laughed at for suggesting they could still win.

The Clippers are staying alive without Kawhi.

I feel like a broken record, but there is a reason they play the actual games and don't just run sims. Is it harder? Of course it is. But otoh this board has spent the past 2 weeks telling me how much Giannis breaks an offense so this should be addition by subtraction offensively, no?

Does last night show the bucks "supporting cast" is overrated?

Post#4725 » by BobbyPortisFan » Thu Jul 1, 2021 2:55 am

Giannis opened the third quater 5/5 and it looked like they might be making a comeback run, but the second giannis goes off the floor their defense collapses and they're down by 25 to the trae-less hawks before the 4th quarter even starts. Maybe now we can stop acting like they have some "Big three" and that they are some talented juggernaut.

No.....it was one game. This is a ridiculous premise IMO based on one half of a game where obviously the emotional energy was also sapped out of the BUcks team seeing Giannis go down.

Didn't seem to happen with any of the other teams sans their superstar(clippers without kawhi, suns without cp3, hawks without trae, ect). Their defense collapsed and bud,(again) didn't make any adjustments

Properly caused flops are techs on the flopper correct? Why do they never ever call that?

Wait... Who thinks Giannis has a great supporting cast? I haven't seen the term "Big Three" used in connection with the Bucks since the early 2000s.

So what? It's incredibly silly to draw that conclusion from 20 minutes of basketball. Not sure what you're expecting from this thread.

It's definitely a good supporting cast but not a great one and no one seriously uses the Big 3 for them. Seems like a strawman by the OP. Only one big 3 in the NBA right now and it's in Brookyln

Not sure why Ty Lue has kept Cousins in for so long.

He's taking the brunt of the CP3 onslaught. Yikes.

Sure is easy when you're playing against an exhausted team that's down three starters. It's embarrassing for the Suns that this even went 6 games.

Not sure why but BobbyP is hardcore championing for Giannis every which way. I mean no one has ever called the Bucks a Big 3, that's just nonsense.

Hot take, strawman argument, agenda based thread - this one got it all. Giannis is a great player, why not just argue about his abilities instead of crapping on his teammates for losing?
