Roughly how high up the Lakers legend rankings would AD be with a ring this year? Assume he maintains his current level of play & wins FMVP (hypothetically against the Sixers - no bonus points for beating Boston)

Laker legend.

Dude’s getting a Lakers statue imho.

He got to stay 8 years like Shaq for it to be considered I think. Shaq spent the least time to get a statue but he had 1 MVP, 3 championships, 3 finals MVP, 8 All NBA, 7 All Star

WHAAAAAT

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT JUST OCCURRED TO ME THAT LEBRON'S BEEN WITH THE LAKERS FOR 5 YEARS HOLY ****

Time flies by so quickly man how depressing. Why did 2015-2018 feel like 6 years ago 2019-2023 feel like 2 years? Lockdown **** with my perception of time so much god damn.

You left then but you put flat mediums which were not good before my scissor seven".

What do you take me for, that you treat somebody like me with such contempt?

Gasol-tier, so borderline top10 candidate? Don't know the count. Way too early to speculate tho.

Great feature with another All-NBA accolade, 8 more than MJ, lol, it may look ridiculous if he has one or two decent regular seasons in him more. This is 19th-best RS of LeBron statistically and waaaaaay better than MJs 12th-best, lol.

It’s unreal that he’s been with LA longer than he was with Miami. Those four years felt so much longer.

Whether his Laker accolades warrant a statue is a fair question, but I think the Lakers will want LeBron associated with the franchise once he retires and thus will give him a statue.

LeBron has these ambitions of getting his own team as an owner, imagine how odd it would be to have a statue of other team's owner, lol. Yeah, MJ, I guess, but still.

LeBron has no shot in being top5 Laker of alltime (Kobe, Shaq, Magic, West, Baylor, Kareem), so naaah, no statue for him.

Who else is at least a bit nervous?

GS is not dead yet

I am leaning towards GS tonight, but who knows, maybe we come out and shock them with a punch in the mouth

We better have adjustments made for AD and the defense

The likely outcome is we come out a bit meh/flat, at least Bron and or AD. But if we keep it close and can get a run in the 2nd or 3rd to take the lead or keep it within 1-2 posseessions, then we may turn it up and tty to steal it

If the series were analogous to a game, I'd say the Lakers are entering the fourth quarter with a 10 point lead. Warriors are definitely capable of erasing the lead and getting the come from behind win.
Only 7 Players in NBA history have 21,000 points, 5,750 assists and 5,750 rebounds. LeBron has double those numbers.

Take Vanderbilt out nowwwww we know this doesn’t work.

Haam refusing to do so in that 3rd quarter almost cost them last game

1. Fewer ATG seasons than many in that tier
2. It could be argued that he "bloomed" due to extremely fortunate circumstances lining up for him.

Tbf is there any ATG that doesn't apply to? Can't think of anyone besides Kareem, Bron and Russell who still looked incredible sans a talented and perfectly fitting supporting cast.

Honestly though he got drafted to a team with Monte Have It All Ellis and almost won ROTY after a slow start. If he got drafted to the Knicks and came up under Mike D'Antoni I'm not sure he doesn't start out like gangbusters. The Warriors org helped him with the ankle stuff though. Idk if the Knicks would've

It's probably true for every single player, but Curry has pretty clear limitations where you can make the case much easier for him, most obvious being his size, but we could also talk about his decision making, making him more dependent on coaches and teammates than others, his durability, his relatively poor run-jump athleticism etc. He clearly exceeded everyone's expectations for him, but those expectations were not very high for a (couple of) reason(s).

For the red text, gotta remember what I'm arguing is he's not a lock for top 10, in response to someone saying there aren't 10 better players all time. That being said I'm surprised to hear that only those 3 looked or would look incredible without a talented team to you. Jordan? Shaq? Wilt? Hakeem? Timmy? Magic? Bird? Oscar? KG? Chuck? What does incredible mean to you then? Championships?

You can tell this team came out with the mindset of knowing Game 6 is in their building. LeBron looks dreadful out there.

Hambone Ham fails to call a timeout until the lead balloons once again. Elite coach I’m being told tho.

Ehhh I think a 3-1 series lead is more of an advantage than a 10 point lead after 3 quarters. Teams come back from 10 point deficits in a quarter all the time. Comebacks from 3-1 are incredibly rare. More like 15-20 point lead IMO.

I see why Lebron doesn’t handle the ball as much anymore. His decision making has been getting worse and worse
