Glad Miami won. Game 3 is a great example of a lopsided officiated game. Contrary to the conspiracy theorists, it isn't that the refs hated Miami or were ordered to fix it. Just organically during the game they ended calling almost all the borderline calls for Boston creating an enormous FT disparity which resulted in an enormous advantage for 1 team.

No solution for this either.

As the broadcast noted, the way technicals are called is also very inconsistent.

Draymond did everything short of kicking the referees in the nuts last night and still couldn't pick up a second technical.

I'm so glad JVG, who I know annoys some but I love said that, it is ridiculous the way technicals are called. Refs:

1. Go out of their way to call dual technicals even if 1 dude caused everything.
2. Are really reluctant to call the 2nd T.
3. Have no consistency game to game
4. Have no consistency ref to ref.

BTW, I'd love for the NBA to have zero tolerance for talking to the refs. The constant complaining to the refs really makes it less enjoyable.

Another prime example from the Warriors game: that BS double-technical when Lee tried to hurdle a player who was on the ground.

What makes the constant whining even more annoying is when the replay is shown seconds later and proves the call was correct. I'm not saying the refs don't blow calls, but most of these players should have zero credibility at this point.

Sonics were the most talented core of that decade not to win a title. They both choked, 1994 vs Denver and 1995 vs Los Angeles, and were snakebit, 1993 the refs decided to call everything when you have a team built on aggressive defense, making the finals only to go against a GOAT level team. The two years you choke the title is won by a team you play well against.

very good parallel. I'd say Thunder had better top end talent but Sonics were much deeper. Both were better than many teams that won titles including clubs they lost too.

The Celtics need to hypnotize Tatum into thinking he's playing the Clippers every game. Then he'll be the east-coast Luka every single night.

Tatum is unbelievably blow hot/blow cold shooting wise. In this postseason alone he's had games of 5/16, 6/18, 4/19 and now 3/14 (the 12/29 wasn't great either).

Luka. If he wins, he'll force himself into the conversation for the next GOAT and will possibly outpace Giannis for the best player of this generation.

Bam finally with dominant game. Heat fans should expect him to be as agressive as he was tonight for the rest of the series. Miami defense has been unbelievable as well, despite the rough 2nd half they kept playing with so much passion. It's probably the best Tucker game of the playoffs so far.

Tatum was so bad tonight. He's so inconsistent and that's the reason why I can't put him ahead of guys like Luka or even Butler. This time even his defense wasn't there.

Any updates on Butler's injury? I hope he's alright, Miami won't win another 2 games without him.

Tatum looked like he was drunk on the court, just an unbelievably atrocious performance. His passing was even worse than his shooting and he just made the wrong decision on offense almost every time.

The whole Celtics team committed so many idiotic turnovers. All they had to do in the second half after Bulter's injury was take care of the ball on offense and play their usual defense, but they kept giving up the ball away. Even with all the calls going their way they couldn't overcome this.

Credit to Miami, they played really hard and much smarter than the Celtics. Kyle Lowry is a warrior and Bam finally showed up on offense. Oladipo was great on D and Tucker was his usual dominant self on that end.

Tatum looked like KD against the Celtics. Even worse.

I'm going to focus more on something positive from that game. Holy cow was Dipo fantastic defending on ball last night. So glad to see this guy healthy and contributing after such a tough road. He was fantastic.

Yeah, Dipo had spectacular game on defensive end. It's so nice to see him still contributing to winning basketball.

It's better it happens now than in Game 7 like it did with Ayton.

it may be worse if anythingh, every loss counts the same

but now celtics are more likely to lose before a game 7
