DLo 20, Reaves 9, LeBron 47, Vanderbilt 4, Davis 41
Schröder 4, Beasley 17, Brown Jr 8, Rui 8, Gabriel 3
Reed 2, Christie 2, FRP 3, SRP 1, Vet min 2

That's $170m for 15 players..

I think Lakers could trade at deadline to drop out of tax.

Dlo is getting more than 20 AAV

He would work as a nice, expiring salary ballast for a trade next year. Big advantage to take him and his option.

Yeah if they don't keep Beasley, I'll be shocked. Then again, this FO is allergic to shooting.

6 weeks would be last game of the season.

I think 4 weeks is most likely. Home game against Chicago.

I personally don't expect him to be 100% healthy this quick

zimpy27 wrote:One thing I want to be clear about LeBron's injury that may not.be obvious to everyone here.

He played on it after the injury. Because he was able to play on it and play well it means that the injury isn't impairing his function.

The reason he is out right now is likely due to swelling and inflammation that they are trying to get down. That inflammation in the foot weakens al areas of the foot increasing the chance for further injury.

He could play right now but he'd have an increased risk of serious injury.

From that perspective, I think there's zero chance he's not playing in the play-in or playoffs if Lakers get there.

We don't know exactly what happened with his foot, but we know that he's in a walking boot riding on a scooter. Hope I'm wrong, but not as optimistic about it

The walking boot is normal for them. Especially LeBron. They're just being extra cautious in order to completely minimize the pressure on his foot. It's not all that indicative of the severity. If it's a plantar fascia injury or flare up, 4 weeks is doable. It's more of a mental/pain thing than a structural thing as far as the strength of his foot when he comes back. Unlike ankles where even when he comes back it's not as strong.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

20m is next season salary, not AAV.

Brunson effectively got 25, 27, 29, 31 when scaled to a 10% higher cap.

I think DLo gets less than Brunson considering how Brunson was wanted so heavily by Knicks/Mavs and was amazing in last playoffs.

20 isn't far off, maybe it's 22 next year.

22, 24, 26, 28 (4/100m contract)

Warriors lose to Grizz. Good for the Lakers.

Only one game back in the loss column against every team in the 5 to 8 spot!

Trying to not get too optimistic but it looks good right now. If Lakers can make it to the 6th seed then I think they could win a championship.

Of course anything catastrophic could happen from here.

If we get bubble AD & Bron, we might stand a puncher's chance against the Bucks.

They can go far if they stay healthy. Actually really surprised with AD. Used to average 2 ankle tweaks and 4 booboos a game. He doesn't even get banged up anymore. Coincidence or did he finally work on his landing mechanics or balance?

I'll legit cry if they win a chip this year with another FMVP for the all-time leading scorer.

Siakam always gives the Lakers trouble it feels like.

Hope the Lakers win.

Raptors are always a bad matchup for the Lakers (since LeBron got there)

Wolves lost if the Lakers don't blow an easy game tonight they will be only a half game out of top 8. Incredible how even with LeBron hurt this team probably easily makes the playoffs if Disasterbrook hadn't cost them like 8 games.

Credit to Ham for finally learning not to start two point guards btw. Way too late but at least he realized it eventually

It really can't be overstated how much more enjoyable this team is to watch without Westbrook. I'd never consider watching the Lakers play if LeBron was out previously, and now I'm looking forward to it.
