Early on, it looked like Westbrook was aggressively opportunistic. Backdoor cuts, driving against bad positioning, etc. As the game went on, he seemed to be wrapped up in his heat, and was working harder for his points. When you put it up and run around that much, you'll generally get fatigued.

I am VERY happy that Lillard didn't get sucked into trying to duel, and let other guys (Wes, Nic, Blake) operate with the ball more instead of shooting us out of the game.
1/17/2015 prediction: Curry outplays Westbrook in the 14-15 playoffs.

Screw this season. I'm waiting on college hoops to start. Kinda glad I didn't get LP this year!

Westbrook is not about that life. you guys thought he will put Allen Iverson type numbers, but he can't even stay in the game.

cyclix, what does this post add to this thread? He got hurt. He's been an ironman in his playing career and his injuries started with the Beverly knee injury. I don't see the point of something like this at all.

What do people know about this?

Was it a just a sprained finger or something or like a serious tear?

If it was the latter it shouldn't need more than a few games worth of recovery time right?

Very likely that OKC won't have HCA for any round in the playoffs. The West is Brutal (yes, with a capital B).

Injuries have been really prevalent

I'm not a tin foil hat guy but anyone think the HGH crackdowns may have more to do with that

Come on.....

Stars always get injured. Sucks for Thunder because they lost bother their stars. Also, this happened on the court. HGH doesn't work like that.

I'm not saying I believe it, but it just seems like people are getting dinged up like crazy and the season just started

FTR I'm not accusing Westbrook of such, because that was a freak injury, like randle's

We saw literally 6 quarters of the Westbrook show.

Ugh.

Horrible season so far.

Does anyone know the usual timetable on hand fractures? If Westbrook misses even 10-15 games OKC might not even make the playoffs. Sucks that I am gonna have to change my sig after changing it before tonight's game.

10-15 games would probably be best case scenario. Had a couple metacarpal fractures in high school. Took about 2 months to heal.

OKC might actually miss the playoffs... They can't afford to be without both their stars for months.
