I'd have to pursue legal action against the people after me if they let Robinson reach you.

KG/Robinson would have been a significant defensive leg up over everyone in the game. Especially if you had settled on 08’ KG like you alluded to in your post.

I've got a couple of guys in mind for my next pick but I wonder if any of them will even make it to the end of the second round.

Oh my god I love that Durant & Harden got picked together. I'm so curious what this team ends up looking like!

I was hoping to pair the proven combo of Shaq and Wade, damn.

Before we get too much further in the draft I just want to have this clarified.

ardee wrote:Draft Rules:

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1976-77 season to the 2019-20 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before the 1976-77 season, but seasons can only be chosen from 1976-77 season or onward. Each player must have played at least half of the regular season games for the year that you are using.

Typically on the T&T Games board we don’t allow current seasons to be used as there is no way to finalize the FGA numbers or look at playoff performance(s). I realize there is a good chance that this season may be officially over now but as far as I know that has yet to be declared? Does this mean that we are allowed to use the 2019-20 season?

I'll let ardee rule on this officially, but for anyone who has drafted someone still in the league, it only seems right to allow 19-20 since it's stated in the rules. Would hate to have someone punished for drafting a player thinking this year would count only to not have it do so. Only a couple players this might impact, but for the sake of fairness.

Plus it just opens up a bit more flexibility. Just my 2 cents, but I say include it.

This sucks now. I have to sweat 5 picks and I feel like I have to have one specific guy at this point. And just zero chance he gets to me.

FWIW, I’m not opposed to using this season. I would definitely like clarity on the matter though before we get too much further. Main reason being that I anticipate a player being selected this round that it could have a pretty big impact on.

Edit: Giannis was the guy I was referring to

This is going to be tough, thankfully there are still a lot of 1970s and 1980s players left ;)

Yeah, and I think now that he's drafted that means it's really not appropriate to eliminate '19-20.

What I'll say is that in terms of qualitative perception, I don't think Giannis has really gone up a tier this season yet. I think people wanted to see him take that next step in the playoffs and become the undisputed king of basketball. He won't get that chance now...but on the other hand, that's also probably why he wasn't drafted earlier, and now he feels like a great steal.

I'm using 2019 anyways. Not worth the field goal difference.

I figured it would make sense to include 2019-2020. We usually include the year in our games as soon as the RS ends, and that has most definitely happened regardless of if we get the Playoffs or not.
