30 points on 16 shots along with 10 assists, 7 boards and 3 steals. Insane that he is managing this at his age.

Hope he can keep this up. 20/10 average and the title is what I hope for. Let's go!

I feel like the Suns answer back in a big way but if they somehow lose this series, CP3's legacy takes a big hit

There is massive pressure on CP3 shoulders now especially if Booker's injury is serious.

If he loses this series even without Booker his legacy takes a massive hit.

He will be 38 years old next season and the window for him to win his first ring will be basically be shut.
Reggie Jackson is amazing and a killer in the clutch that's all.

Itwould be Phoenix's first. Such a long time for a franchise.

Lol what’s he supposed to do? Control injuries for other players?

He’s usually the smallest player on the court and they play him tight, his legacy here will be that they were in great position to challenge for a title again but the main offensive star injured his hamstring and that’s all she wrote.

too sun to write them off, they could beat pelicans and hopefully have booker back for the second round

either way this series just became a lot more interesting than expected

Legacy game? If the Suns beat the Pelicans people will forget about it almost instantly. They'll just say they were an 8th seed.

The WHOLE LEGACY of Chris Paul is on the line next game, for the 37th time!

If his team loses next game he's officially a BUM that CANNOT LEAD a team to a title. If Phoenix wins... well, nothing happens.

They're basically the 9 seed.... And if Pg didn't get Covid they wouldn't have been in playoffs. Booker without Cp3 went 2-0 against a much better Pg13 led Clips who just upset 1 seed Utah. And lets be honest they basically beat Lakers despite or in spite of Cp3 he was playing with one hand and a liability for 90% of that series when Can Payne was better than him. All those narratives Cp3 is the best player on the team and massive credit he's gotten for Suns turnaround - to be clear he's a big part but he's gotten more credits than he's deserved - will look very wrong and sus if they just flame out and get upset against an okay Pels team without Booker. They're still huge favorites to win series. LEGACY series period.

Chris Paul is 37 years old midget PG. You can't expect anything from him at this point. He's been spectacular for his age and physical limtiations.

Anything he will do on the basketball court is just bonus for his well established legacy. Some of these Paul haters are ridiculous. Do they rank Oscar Robertson based on 1974 postseason run? Or Kareem by 1989 sweep? Isiah Thomas was done when he was 5 years younger.

We should expect him to beat a 36 win team while being a huge favourite.

CP3 gets more excuses for his failures in the playoffs than any other player in NBA history.

And that's a fact

A loss to the pels would be a final stamp on his career of choking.

He is great at front running in the playoffs as seen in game 1 of this series.

But as soon as his teams really need him to step up he disappears.

Case in point game 4 of the 2021 finals in which he as usual completely **** the bed under pressure.

As if he had even played an average game the suns go up 3 games to 1 and he most likely has a ring.

This will be CP3's legacy as a playoff performer if he retires ring less.
