What is the correct reading of the second paragraph?
Vince Carter has 5 Game winners vs Boston or is it Vince has 5 3 point FGA game winners.

Either way it seems like a silly stat

Yes, I meant game winners too, wasn't talking about normal buzzer-beaters. Kobe has way more than 5 normal buzzer-beaters and probably more than anyone else in NBA history.

Anyway, I looked it up. One source says MJ has the most game winning buzzer-beaters with 9 and Kobe has the 2nd most with 8. Don't know if it's fully accurate but here's Kobe's 8.

Kobe almost certainly has more misses with a shot to win or tie a game than anyone else too. He played forever and was the go-to perimeter guy basically his entire career. Don't overreact to him having made 8 without the data of how many he didn't make.

Not over-reacting, Chuck, was generally curious because I thought it said Vince had the most overall... which would have been surprising. I thought Dirk would also have more than Vince. You're just sensitive to anything positive about Kobe.
