But what is the deal?
Feels like Rui has to stay if he is playing like this
Still need a point guard if you move Dlo
Dlo, Gabe, and JHS/Reddish and Lewis in a 3 teamer for Lonzo and Coby White may be the way to go. Need to give up a 1st and 2nds probably? And find a 3rd team likely
Lonzo, Reaves, Bron, Rui, AD
Coby White, Christie, Vando, Wood, Hayes
Try and upgrade Hayes with whatever we got left? 2nds, swaps, JHS if he is left
I don't think the Bulls want to move White (would be an excellent fit here though) and still need to see more from Lonzo. He only played 14 mins in game 1 and missed tonight, not sure he could handle a full season and playoffs. I also don't think think they necessarily need to acquire a PG with the way JJ is playing through Reaves and Lebron, would prefer more size and athleticism replacing DLO. AR/wing/Rui/Lebron/AD is a more versatile playoff lineup with a higher defensive ceiling. Also, Gabe looked really good defensively tonight.. if he can hit shots I might prefer to keep him over Vando or Christie (when he's trade eligible).
When Christie becomes available to trade: DLO/Max/JHS is roughly 30 mil, DLO/Vando/JHS is roughly 33 mil, DLO/Vando/JHS/Max is roughly 40 mil.
The reason I have opened up to the idea of Lonzo a lot is b/c he is a big guard and versatile defensively, but you dont lose playmaking
Bogdan would be solid offesnviely for us from ATL, but not enough defense/athleticism in the backcourt I think
Is Bruce Brown good enough overall?
If we could move a 1st, a swap, JHS, and some 2nds for Lonzo and Coby White, that seems pretty good
Not sure if both 1sts are worth it, unless protecting 31 lottery and becomes 2nds
