Probably did :banghead:

Also not having a real backup C hurt them

We should have pushed in another chip/piece at the deadline

Remember there were Bogdanovic rumors. Swapping Beasley and something for him

If we had Bogdan and a better backup C....

Pelinka is to blame as well imo

But what is the deal?

Feels like Rui has to stay if he is playing like this

Still need a point guard if you move Dlo

Dlo, Gabe, and JHS/Reddish and Lewis in a 3 teamer for Lonzo and Coby White may be the way to go. Need to give up a 1st and 2nds probably? And find a 3rd team likely

Lonzo, Reaves, Bron, Rui, AD
Coby White, Christie, Vando, Wood, Hayes

Try and upgrade Hayes with whatever we got left? 2nds, swaps, JHS if he is left

I don't think the Bulls want to move White (would be an excellent fit here though) and still need to see more from Lonzo. He only played 14 mins in game 1 and missed tonight, not sure he could handle a full season and playoffs. I also don't think think they necessarily need to acquire a PG with the way JJ is playing through Reaves and Lebron, would prefer more size and athleticism replacing DLO. AR/wing/Rui/Lebron/AD is a more versatile playoff lineup with a higher defensive ceiling. Also, Gabe looked really good defensively tonight.. if he can hit shots I might prefer to keep him over Vando or Christie (when he's trade eligible).

When Christie becomes available to trade: DLO/Max/JHS is roughly 30 mil, DLO/Vando/JHS is roughly 33 mil, DLO/Vando/JHS/Max is roughly 40 mil.

The reason I have opened up to the idea of Lonzo a lot is b/c he is a big guard and versatile defensively, but you dont lose playmaking

Bogdan would be solid offesnviely for us from ATL, but not enough defense/athleticism in the backcourt I think

Is Bruce Brown good enough overall?

If we could move a 1st, a swap, JHS, and some 2nds for Lonzo and Coby White, that seems pretty good

Not sure if both 1sts are worth it, unless protecting 31 lottery and becomes 2nds

Christie isn't ready for the slot he occupies...

Hopefully he develops over season, he does need these reps

I swear Sabonis would be an MVP candidate if he played the Lakers every night.

What a weird game – Lakers go up 14 early, give us the lead, give up two three-pointers at the end of the third quarter to go down seven and then go on a 21 to nothing run behind LeBron with some crazy throwback game. Anthony Davis was -22 and 38 minutes and somehow the Lakers were +26 in the other 10 minutes.

They lose that Kings game under Ham.

Despite Demar turning into Steph from distance, Lakers looked cool and under pressure enough to hit back.

Other stars bump scoring for a couple possessions here and there, Lebron generates possession stretches for entire quarters. Stop disrespecting this man's legacy already. Talking about having no bag like a couple extra spins and trick shots is the same as impact

I mean, I think Ham was really bad, but they did get SWEPT in 2023. I don't know what coaching adjustments could've stopped God-Mode Jokic and Murray turning into peak Steph.

The bigger issue was LeBron being limited by injury. I think if you swap that version of him with the healthy one from 2023-24 it becomes a lot closer.

Dlo was okay on O but brutally attacked on D through the 4th quarter of both games. There must have been a stretch in the 4th qtr comeback where they had like 10 of 15 on his head alone. Bringing in Vincent was also a good adjustment from Reddick but it doesn't spell good if he already can't close games in just games 1 and 2 of the regular season

Yeah, need a couple to replace the Christie and Hayes minutes although the latter has been quite good to start the season.

It was just a way for them to pretend LeBron wasn’t still elite last year. They’d be sitting at 0-3 this year with the Hambecile on the bench. Dude may have been the worst coach in the association.

Every game of that series was close lol. I don't care if it's 4-0 when every game comes down to the wire, replacing a clueless coach could have made it a different series for sure.

Is Ham the worst HC that LBJ had in his career?
