There's still one more talented than him (in my opinion). But I doubt anyone takes him. I won't for sure.

Is it odd for me to say that the 4 starters on Narigo's team doesn't look any better than Jordan's actual Bulls team? HIs team will have more depth for sure and the center position is upgraded with Ben.

Sikma is much better than any center Jordan ever played with. Marques/Jones are roughly equal to Pippen/Rodman or Pippen/that other PF who played for the Bulls before the Worm joined the team, so overall, this fantasy team is clearly better. I like the fit, too.

Do you guys wanna shorten the draft clock starting round 6? I think 5 hours, with the clock only running from 8 AM to midnight is fair.

Oh, by the way - ardee looks like a dark horse so far to me, with his well-balanced team. There's just something smooth about his team, with the way he combined top tier superstars like Dirk and Nash with second tier stars like Parish and Dumars who are excellent on offense, but defense is really their calling card, and who proven that they can function very well on stacked teams like the 80s Celtics and Pistons, being the second or third option.

I don't see the point really. GM's are already kinda struggling with the 12 hours and it would suck to have them miss times, especially this deep in the draft. Draft is only gonna take more thought and deliberation further we get into it, cutting the draft time would just be really unfair I think. It would probably make it go a little faster, but at the cost of multiple GMs missing their times. I don't think its worth it.

I was being a little dramatic with the "doesn't look any better", so my apologies for that. With that said, I view Pippen as the difference here comparing the 1st three drafted. Bobby Jones is on Pippen's level defensively and still would be a great defender today given how fluid he was but has a TRB% barely over 10%. Post 79/80 Jones was mainly a 6th man too.

I think it'll go faster during the snake part of the draft with the back-to-backs and draft picks being closer to each other. Anyways, I thought this entire thing (draft, playoffs, etc) would take a month. The discussion thread for the T&T all-time draft that took place a few years ago spanned a month. We're actually moving at a very good pace given it's 16 players, and we're 40% of the way through. So if say everyone took 4 hours to pick, that's 6 picks per day. It seems we're roughly at that which is pretty good given the circumstances.

we should try to organize a day where everyone makes an effort to make picks. if we could get like an entire round done in a day that would speed things along immensely.

I had HIGH hopes, Bobby Jones would last that 10 picks between my 4th and 5th. He WAS my guy.
(And looking at the rosters, Narigo was the biggest threat to pick him - and he did. :) )
Now, I'm pretty clueless what to do.

+
Bernard King (82-84) Vlade Divac (95-97) Derek Harper (88-90) Dan Majerle (91-93) Josh Smith (10-12)

I also have in mind a player arguably more talented than Carter (and several others) who will probably stay undrafted.

There are still some 30 PPG scorers left on board, pretty weird no one was willing to take them, especially if one of them was actually a decent defender.

I've got my eye on one totally forgotten player, but I'm afraid he's not eligible for this draft, having played 81, 63 and 61 games in three consecutive seasons...The most frustrating thing is that he had two 80-game seasons in a row, playing on a very similar level, two consecutive years before 1980 (that is 1978 and '79)...He also had the next two seasons (early 80s) when he played roughly 75 games in each of these seasons, also putting up similar stats. I think he should definitely be eligible. Ehhh. Hibachi, maybe I could get some leeway? If not, then it's fine, but I'd really like to have this guy on my team.

Sorry my man. It's strictly 75%. Some GMs already passed on players cuz of the rule so it would be unfair.

Indeed, we can't allow exceptions.

I don't want to sound strict  , but we have to draw the line regarding eligibility. There are many players who have for example a "55 games" (OK, 61 is more than 55, but still short of the 75% line  ) season with two full seasons in their prime... and they would have been already picked up, I think. I don't think there should be any more exceptions at this point, it wouldn't be totally fair. Just my 2 cents.
