Didn't get to see it, but looking at the box score it seems he and KD are getting back and weren't even playing much late. At .500, hope they keep playing well.

Thanks, glad to see, and Waiters has been a great add.

Still don't get the hate for the guy, but w/e. To each his own I suppose.

Oh, and more from Tramel:

http://awfulannouncing.com/2015/oklahom ... ticle.html

There was a period of time today when the article was pulled down due to “site issues,” but then re-posted with a key sentence from the end missing.

Here is the last paragraph:

Familiarity breeds contempt. I get that. But Friday night, in a game the Thunder desperately needed, Westbrook had a game for the ages. And he was mad at the world. Not just me. Mad at everybody. And when he no-answers The Oklahoman and the Thunder website and Channel 5 and The Sports Animal, he’s showing his complete disregard for fans. We’re not there to get our jollies. We’re there because we all have customers intensely interested in the Thunder. The people who buy tickets and the people who watch the games on television so that the Thunder can sell commercials and pay the bills.

This is the sentence that was ultimately cut:
When Russell Westbrook says “good execution” to every question, what he’s really saying to the fans is, “I don’t like you.”

And people noticed:

the hate for waiters should be obvious, he was toxic in the cavs locker room and was chucking up the ball when there were better options.

i dont think hes a smart add, but hes shooting the ball very well comparatively speaking, maybe a change of scenery was what he needed. hes very talented, thats never been his problem.

Not a gret start, but finished strong as pf now. Still a minute left but 18/10/6/4. Bad Dion, but good Reggie.

Westbrook closed the game out while Durant went full (Please Use More Appropriate Word) in the fourth when his elbow was hurt.

"He shoots too much, he isn't a point guard, he doesn't know how to play the game, he's just a good athlete and won't be anything once it goes, he's dumber than a bag of hammers, trade him."

Was 2012-2013 really only a couple of years ago?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

2015 OKC In/Out
(adjusting for HCA and opponent strength)

------------------------------------------------------

OKC Season (41 G)

+2.41 SRS, +0.2 Offense, -2.0 Defense

------------------------------------------------------

GOATbrook/Durant OUT (14 G)

-3.41 SRS, -5.8 Offense, -2.4 Defense

------------------------------------------------------

Durant OUT, GOATbrook IN (8 G)

+4.75 SRS, +3.3 Offense, -1.4 Defense

------------------------------------------------------

Durant, GOATbrook IN (17 G)

+5.48 SRS, +3.1 Offense, -1.9 Defense

------------------------------------------------------

**I removed the games in which Durant/Westbrook were injured and missed the 2nd half from the In/Out samples
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"
