OK, fine, but it's incredible how close he was to being eligible...ONE FREAKIN' GAME short of 75% mark, in one season. Maybe it's sign that he's not worth taking?

You can take a look at his BBR page, you'll have a good laugh about it:

OK, so I can already tell you who it was, if he's not eligible - Dan Roundfield. I wanted my personal Dennis Rodman meets Bobby Jones type of player, dammit.

Now I'm starting to appreciate that I was allowed to take 1998-2000 Zo, which was indeed an exception.

I think he should definitely be eligible. Ehhh. Hibachi, maybe I could get some leeway? If not, then it's fine, but I'd really like to have this guy on my team.

I don't want to sound strict  , but we have to draw the line regarding eligibility. There are many players who have for example a "55 games" (OK, 61 is more than 55, but still short of the 75% line  ) season with two full seasons in their prime... and they would have been already picked up, I think. I don't think there should be any more exceptions at this point, it wouldn't be totally fair. Just my 2 cents.

Seriously. None of us have an exception either. Otherwise, give me Kevin Love.

Seeing Eddie Jones get drafted is a major bummer!

I went with the safer pick.
There were obviously better players than Ho Grant, but I felt like I need some athleticism, and DEFENSE. We are building a real team, and he certainly can be a valuable member as a 5th addition. He does all the little things on both sides of the court, will bring intensity, hustle, great overall defense. And he is an intelligent player, won't disrupt the flow of the offense, can pass the ball, set screens, hit the midrange jumper, finish at the rim. He was a valuable "2b" member of the first Bulls threepeat (Jordan-Pippen, I now have Bird and some other potent offensive players), also thrived in Orlando (Shaq, I now have Howard), he should be a good fit.
He is pretty versatile as a defender, he is relatively fast and quick, so depending on the matchup, i can switch him on some of the more athletic SF's, while Bird will be guarding the post. And they all are good team defenders.
PC Board All Time Fantasy Draft:

PG Mark Price (92-94)
SG Manu Ginobili (05-07)
SF Larry Bird (84-86)
PF Horace Grant (93-95)
C Dwight Howard (09-11)
+
Bernard King (82-84) Vlade Divac (95-97) Derek Harper (88-90) Dan Majerle (91-93) Josh Smith (10-12)

ThunderDan, you stole my pick man...Not cool. I envisioned taking Horace since the third round...His passing ability would make him a perfect fit for triangle offense with Kobe and Mullin, or even Billups.

Fortunately, I think I have a good replacement for him, unless CaliBullsFan or john248 nabs him before my pick, but I doubt it.

Schrempf gives me the biggest and 2nd best front court after Mchale/Yao/Lebron IMO

7'1 Gasol
7'0 Duncan
6'9 Schrempf

Nice pick with Schrempf. I actually considered taking him with my fourth pick, but I think Mullin was a little better. Detlef's size allowed him to play PF though, that'd be a nice bonus.

I selected Terry Porter, who did the same things Billups did. A good defender who's able to defend both guard positions, great 3 point shooter during his peak seasons, able to play off-ball and run an offense, good leader, and his numbers across the board have gone up in the playoffs, and outplayed Drexler in their 1990 playoff run. Like Nance, he's another underrated player.

Hey Hibachi - remember the talk we had a few days ago about a certain point guard who was similar to Billups (Notanoob was also taking part in that conversation) - I was talking about Porter the whole time. :P

Not an easy pick, but Lamar can come off the bench and he'll be perfectly content with that role. He's a very good all-around player - very skilled on offense, great passer, good defender and a very good rebounder as well. I think some guys are gonna be very disappointed that I already nabbed him.

I'm not sure if he'll be my starter, but he's a true jack-of-all trades and provides smooth transition from my SF (Mullin) to the center (Zo). I needed a big guy who can pass out of the post, because that's a big weakness of Alonzo. Odom can also play as a point forward, which is a nice bonus, and he always had very good chemistry with Kobe, and I'm sure Bryant's presence will keep him motivated and focused.

How was Dominique not taken yet? Glad I got him even though not the greatest fit. My starting 5 has 4 HOFers and 1 should get in HOFer imo

When I was debating the value of James Worthy, I wondered why Wilkins wasn't drafted over him.

Well, Nique didn't really play much defense. David Robinson is going to have a lot of cleaning up to do with Nique and C-Webb as your forwards. Killer scoring though.

Yeah I was going to take a great defender for my SF but he was ineligible.

Webber wasn't that bad of a defender when he wanted to be

Damn, that Mitch Richmond pick hurt. Funny how him and Rice go back to back.

My turn now... the Mitch Rich pick really threw off my gameplan. So I have to take some time to think about this.
