You don't even know who I'm thinking of! Lol

But the way you've picked all 90s guys, I might actually be thinking of the same guy haha

True. The guy I'm thinking of is also from the same time. 80s-90s.

I wish i knew more about the judges. The player I want to replace Roy is someone I actually think is better but is extremely underrated and the stats definitely don't show his full worth. Or I can go with a much worse player who everyone knows and his numbers accurately illustrate his game.

Damn, HeartBreakKid is going for broke with KJ. :D Honestly, I don't know if I'd start prime Stockton or KJ, Johnson's peak may've been even better...

Would either be happy coming off the bench?

That's the thing I'm very worried about, but it's HeartBreakKid's choice and he's IMO taking a huge risk that the judges won't like it (I personally don't like it too). He may have his heart broken a little if they won't. Yeah, pun intended.

That's exactly why I'm not taking too many superstars.

It's risky, but so is my approach with playing Marion/Melo at power forward. I hope my speed on the perimeter makes up for it tho. Prime Wade is my 3rd best perimeter defender!

I didn't let that stop me from picking underrated players who I've got in Nance and Porter. You'll just have to argue your case when it comes to such players. For me, Porter's 3 year peak is great which includes better play in the playoffs including 1 in which he was better than Clyde. I can point to someone to compare like Billups since Porter himself put up good volume number while increasing his efficiency...especially when it comes to ORTG and offensive win shares. But he gets underrated because his long career made his career numbers dip.

I don't think it's a huge risk, Marion had probably the best season of his career in 2005-06 playing PF full time with Amare out for a season. Against opponents with bigger frontlines, you can always play Eaton and Moses together inside, or whoever you'll draft later on.

I actually compared Porter to Billups earlier in this thread and honestly, I considered taking him over Chauncey with my third pick, but eventually went with Billups is a more well-known player (because he's more recent, still active), but they're pretty comparable prime vs prime. Porter was even the MVP of the Blazers in some playoff series, he often played better than Clyde.

Yup, I was thinking exactly that when I drafted Marion, his versatility. He's alright with the 3 too, so I can put him at 3 when I play Eaton and Moses together. I'm loving the defensive potential I have on the perimeter.

Dennis Johnson is easily better than half the guards who have already been picked. Had I known he would of lasted this long I wouldn't have pick Moncrief. DJ could do all the same things.

Did I just read you're a Blazers fan? Shame on you. In all seriousness, yea, they're a great comparison. I think you made the right pick since Billup's was damn good in 06 under Flip.

Don't really see how my list is different from anyone else's. Everyone is picking star players in their prime. Only difference is mine are better. 8-)
