Unforgettable night for Durant and his fans. That pull-up 3 was too damn savage.

There is just something so graceful about his running before that pull-up 3.

Good to see this guy get the credit he deserves.

Regardless what one thought of his decision, he still has to be judged by his performance.

ThaRegul8r wrote:9. Individual Contribution. The only thing of relevance is how a player helps his team win, which means the player in question’s performance will be evaluated. If that player has a poor performance and another player picks up the slack to help his team win, then that player receives no bonus for his teammate bailing him out. Conversely, just as a doctor can try to the best of his ability to help keep a patient alive but fail, so can a player try to the best of his ability to help his team win but ultimately fail. His individual performance will be assessed, and if he didn’t help his team lose, he will incur no penalty. However, if he was instrumental in his own team’s defeat, he will be penalized accordingly.

He isn't just going along for the ride.

I mean, people can—and I'm sure they will—continue to criticize what he did, but one can't let that color one's perspective of what he's doing on the court.
I remember your posts from the RPOY project, you consistently brought it. Please continue to do so, sir. This board needs guys like you to counteract ... worthless posters

Agreed, he is doing big time work and there is a contingent of fans that do not appreciate it.......
I'm so tired of the typical......

My body is so ready for him to peak in game 5. Want him to drop 40 on 50% shooting.

I'm ready for the epic Durant vs LeBron duel that everyone has been waiting for since 2014. 50 point games by both guys, and clutch shots in the fourth quarter.

Best SF duel of all-times no doubt. We are blessed to watch them play against each other.

As great as that duel can be right now, I thought it was at its best in 2012 finals, when they had comparable supporting casts, and were both playing at the top of their game. It's hard to ignore the fact that Durant has a lot more help right now.

Durant was 23 back then. Whereas LeBron was 27 at the peak of his ability and have much more experience. Durant is much better player now. Much more experienced. Heat back then had more talent and much better coaching unlike OKC. Sop >>> Brooks. Playing Perkins so many minutes hurt them badly.

It's true Durant has more help now but he is playing better than ever and at LeBron's level in this finals so far. That matters a lot. He is living up to the expectations. Winning isn't enough for him. He has to play at his very best. Otherwise, he won't deserve much credit. Thanks to him they are 3-1 in this series so far.

Needs to show up huge in game 5.

Because I don't think Lebron will go down without a fight and it doesn't look like Kyrie will either.

Pivotal game.
