I’m a massive Giannis fan, pulling for him big in this series, I throw that out there only to preface the following statement and make it clear I’m not some Giannis troll….

With another air ball at the line tonight that makes like 5 or 6 for him in this postseason. I’ve never seen anything like it. I mean, Giannis is obviously a below average FT shooter, but we’ve seen guys who were worse, way way worse… but I’ve never seen anyone airball this often at the foul line, it’s crazy. Some of his misses at the line are just staggering. I can’t recall anyone who airballs as often at the line. I don’t know if this is kept as an official stat anywhere, but if it is his run in this postseason has to be historic

That was one of the best halves he's ever played

He was unplayable in the 2nd half

Is the team just not good enough? They couldn't do enough even with that effort from Giannis. Suns have also been underrated throughout.

Lakers were given a lot of flack when they lost in round 1 but hindsight suggests they had no chance. This Suns team is a strong unit.

What can the bucks even do to fix this?

Used too many assets for Jrue and capped out

Now what?

I’m pretty confident the Bucks will get back on track at home. It’s very encouraging to see Giannis looking the way he looks, although the combination of Middleton and JRue being deplorably bad and the Suns having a ridiculousness night from downtown wasted a classic performance by him. I still think this is going to be a long series. Probably go the full 7. I’m excited to see this unfold as they go back home. I’d be incredibly stunned if the Bucks don’t take game 3.

ATG performance from Giannis, he was absolutely unstoppable. I love that he decided to work more in the post, it makes him far less predictable.

Chance of winning finals MVP even if Bucks lose?
Or would the CP3 narrative be too strong?

I'd give Giannis about a five percent chance of winning FMVP if the Bucks lose. He was great in game 2 but not FMVP-ish in game 1.

Chris Paul was great in game 1 but not FMVP-ish in game 2. He had six TOs and missed shots from his midrange sweet spots.

Long way to go. Booker is in the conversation, too.

You might want to fix the stats for Middleton. He had zero FTA. What you show is his FGs. He also had 6 rebounds (not 8). He did have 8 assists.
