Poll shows Jose not being "Top 10 and rising"
Personally I think he's easy top 15 but like so many saying he's border line that means we like him but he isn't there yet(and may never be). Get over it.

OT: IMO Iverson is a PG who has never figured out how short he is and has it stuck in his head he's a SG. So he plays like a 2 that passes well so coaches and other players view him a a PG. Gotta love them tweener players.

Bibby/Andre Miller I'd put ahead...Calderon is very good...he's definitely top 15, but has broken the top 10 barrier yet.

Yeah, disagree.

Would you still disagree if Bibby came out strong and resume his career year i.e. 05-06... Which is likely....

Why is it likely? IIRC he shot near 40% last season averaged around 5 assists, that's awful for your point guard. Bibby is on the decline.

Calderon with another all-star like performance in a win vs the Blazers today, guy had to play the entire second half and 2 full overtimes without any rest. 22 points, 10 assists, 3 boards, 2 steals, 7 of 10 from the field, 3-4 from three, including a huge trey in the first overtime, 5-5 from the free throw line. However, he turned the ball over 3 times on 10 assists, that's still a great numbers for most, but not for Caldy.

What else does he have to do? Get him in the freaking all-star game.

Last year, he played through his injury (shooting hand) thus low %s. Why is he on decline if he was on his prime but that unexpected injury occurred?

Because he had an awful season last year and hasn't played one game yet this season. I'm sorry, but until Bibby can come back and prove he can still be the Bibby of 2+ years ago, then he's on the decline.

Well, you could see him making his debut on Wednesday against your Toronto Raptors :)

Well, his first game back, should have a lot of rust and see limited playing time.

Eh, I expected some rust but he was IMPRESSIVE in practice, so I dont know he could probably surprise us or disappoint us... BTW he will play from the bench not starting....

calderon is averaging 14 and 10 as a starter, and his team is 4th in the east. That's All-star worthy IMO, and he is clearly top 10-11 in the L.

Calderon is a very good PG, but he's not all-star worthy.

And you can believe you're right, but you're not.

Calderon has been better than Dre Miller this season, there's no doubt about it, you can choose to ignore, but you're not blind. Bibby has ways to go to prove himself as a top 10 point again, even at his peak he wasn't ever really considered at the top of his position. He had an off season last year and has yet to play a game this season. These rankings are for the current P.G class, not from '05 and before.

10 point guards I would put ahead of Calderon.
(not in order just off the top of my head)

arenas
nash
williams
paul
Davis
Williams (mo)
Parker
billups
kidd
miller

people on Calderon's level

ford
tinsley
bibby
barbosa
terry
felton

...top 20 maybe top 15 not top 10

Can all the Dre fans come out and make a case for him over Calderon? Because I just don't understand why he's getting so much love playing on a garbage Philly team. His scoring efficiency is up at an all time high for him, but his playmaking has gone down.

Caldy is more efficient, can shoot the 3, better free throw shooter, takes care of the ball better, generates more assists in less minutes, plays for a winning team.

What exactly does Dre do better than Calderon?

what have mo williams and Dre done to be considered better than calderon and ford. I would go as far as to say M.Williams isnt top 15, yet u list him top 10. And please, somebody explain the Dre overrating.
