Coming in to this round there were 4 legitimate superstar PGs left Deron and Parker got picked, the 3rd guy is obvious and will almost definitely get picked at some point. But I highly doubt the 4th guy gets picked.

FYI He's the guy I was angry for picking Hornacek over. He's so underrated that if I gave you 3 guesses(don't actually guess) you probable still wouldn't get it right.

4th guy? I'm guessing he played in the early 2000s.

I think draft could wrap up by the weekend. Playoffs set for Monday? I'll do the playoff order after the last pick.

I'll tell you that Tim Hardaway wasn't one of the 4

I think I might know who you're talking about though I wouldn't call him a superstar. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes undrafted. I'm happy with Hardaway he will fit well with my bench, he was a very exciting player before the injury. Was still good after but just lost a step.

Love the Parker pick. I was thisclose to picking him. One of my favorite players to watch.

Parker is deadly. I was thinking of taking him, but Deron's bigger, better defender and a better threat from 3. This close to picking TP tho just to have a Spur on my team

I doubt you are thinking of the right guy

I really like Tim Hardaway as a backup to Kidd who can provide a more uptempo high energy contrast to Kidd. Although I feel like Mitch Richmond kind of already fills that role on your team.

I don't even consider him to be a superstar. Then again, nor do I feel about a PG who I'm guessing from the early 2000s.

You know it's funny.

Earlier I was disappointed that we missed out on pre '80 players but now when I think of it, after the first two rounds there wouldn't have been THAT much of a difference.

Wilt would've been top 3, Russ top 10, West and Oscar possibly top 20. After that, I can see Thurmond, Frazier, DeBusschere, Reed, Cowens and Barry being the popular picks, but given how much this board hates Baylor, I could legit see him falling to like the 5th or 6th round and someone taking him out of pity. Hondo as well.

Then, is there really anyone else who you would take over a modern player? Paul Arizin, Jerry Lucas, Bob Pettit, would anyone risk it?

I really doubt we'd have seen more than 12-15 pre 3 point line players drafted.

I highly doubt it. He would be in the top 10, but given how much he's hated by many people here, I think guys would like to take players who are a 'safe bet' and Wilt really isn't. No reason to take him if you could go with Hakeem, Shaq, LeBron or even Duncan.
ardee wrote:Hondo as well.

I think that Hondo would be a really desirable player here, with his ability to blend in seamlessly with any team and willingness to come off the bench. He'd be like a better Manu.

Chet Walker probably could go in the 4th or 5th round. 1962-64 Walt Bellamy would probably go pretty high, given his relatively great efficiency (high volume as well) and rebounding ability.

Wes Unseld would be a really nice alternative if someone couldn't take Rodman. I imagine that someone would also take the early 70s Goodrich.

If john248 doesn't pick in roughly 25 mins, it will be your turn.

So Ibaka my perfect shot blocking/All time great spot up mid range shooting role player got stolen. I was deciding between 5 guys who all have the versatility to play the 4/5

1.The bonafide superstar
2.The last true stretch 4 available, who brought a lot of other things to the table.
3.The super tough rebounder who also had an ok post game pretty good mid range shot
4.The super skilled and super underrated offensive savant
5.The super athlete who was unstoppable in transition and a great FT shooter

My mind was all but made up to go with #3 the super tough offensive rebounder. But WTF is the point in playing it safe!!!!! I am going to with the 3x national player of the year, 1985 All Star game MVP BONAFIDE SUPERSTAR Ralph Sampson!!!!!

Good pick, he is like the best player available.

What's the rule now? Am I allowed to make my pick too, or are we waiting on john?

I'm pretty certain with #3 and #2, have a guess with #5, but have absolutely no clue who #4 might be.
But enough with those "spoilers", the snake will return soon.
