he had a very good game today (although he shot like 40% from the field) but as a whole, his series have been pretty disappointing. although he'll probably win it if they win game 7

How so? Not in favour of any player on a losing team winning it. But you can argue that the reason the cavs were even alive for a game 6 was because of Kyrie.

Nobody's more valuable in this series than LeBron, so he should win MVP for the series.

And even the best game of Kyrie's life wasn't enough to be better than LeBron, who scored the same amount of points, but with 10x the defense in game 5.

And I'd have a much better argument of saying that the only reason this is going to game 7 is because of LeBron.

That's fair. I have trouble being convinced that LeBron deserves it because he had been pretty bad in those losses. But he's been spectacular in the wins. It's been a weird finals.

I believe GS has now lost 9 games in the playoffs. Same as their entire regular season.

Nobody on the Warriors is even close to LeBron in this series. He's just as much ahead of anyone else in this series, as Curry was ahead of anyone else in the regular season. I think Hondo had a clearly better case over West in '69 than any Warrior has over LBJ this year.

I think the Warriors are presently 15-8 in the 2016 postseason, with Game 7 of the Finals still pending.

Stupid ass series should have been over in his 5. Dumbass Draymond had to cause this mess against such a clearly inferior team.

We played bad defense and stupid offense, so it's not that surprising. The difference is RS game was less physically so our soft players were able to outgun the other team.
Both Green and Klay played like crap the entire series, Green was clearly lack of skills and Klay was lack of toughness and basketball IQ. I dont know how the series will end but hopefully Kerr can re-establish Curry as the center piece of the team and build some strategy for PS. Clearly the RS stuff is not working in PS.

series was going exactly the way I expected through four games. Warriors up 3-1 and completely dominating.

i knew it would take a extraordinary set of circumstances for the cavs to come back and i was right. green gets the bull suspension and missed game 5. bogut goes down (no, losing one of the best defensive bigs in the game isn't a good thing for the warriors). iggy gets back spasms and looked like he could barely move for much of game 6. curry dealing with bull foul trouble all of game 6 and the worst/one of the worst perimeter shooters in basketball over the past two years can suddenly shoot again.

now the cavs have all the momentum. they win and we'll have to deal with all the dumbass lbj stans calling him the GOAT and all that nonsense. oh god.

That's all it is really. I called this series from the start that it would end in 5 and it really should have. The Cavs looked completely defeated until Draymond's suspension put life back into them. Now with Bogut down and Iggy hobbled they believe they can win this series when they have absolutely no business even being in this position. LeBron is the luckiest **** player to ever exist in this league

Curry got Green to blame if they lose this series.

I've heard discussion of this, and, of course, this is the second consecutive year this discussion has taken place. It'll be interesting to see how it eventually plays out.

2003: Gets drafted by the CAVS, one of the worst sports city-franchise combinations ever
2014: Runs into the GOAT team playoff performance and loses despite playing great
2015: 2 next best players are injured in the Finals; plays great anyway given the circumstances, gets robbed of FMVP

All against that shot in 2013 where Allen capped off a close game where he took them back from down 10. LUCKIEST PLAYER EVER OMG

Can we go back to discussing Steph Curry, please?

They really made a point of attacking him off of PNRs (switch or no), but I thought aside from his dumb fouls and sometimes suspect passing, he played great on O. Loved that mini adjustment in the 2nd/3rd where he just started attacking the rim, and got off some difficult layups (got fouled on one, made the other).

Cavs adjusted to that and got a fastbreak basket off of an errant pass, which I think spooked him off of driving again.

The excuses for the Warriors are funny here. You guys are really bringing up injuries when both Kyrie and Love were out last finals? And this series is showing they are not better without kyrie at least, his shot making ability is super important for them.

Has there been a super star getting so much in foul trouble in the finals before?

I think we're gonna need a video compilation of those fouls because I thought he clearly deserved most of them. I think his first two fouls were him throwing TT to the ground and then sliding in front of LeBron to draw a charge. His last two were 50/50 calls I don't think you should call but he was stupid anyway for reaching in twice on a Kyrie ISO and then reaching in on LeBron 80 feet from the basket. There's really no one but him to blame for this imo. Offensively he was in a zone and I could see them pulling this one out if Steph didn't kill momentum time and time again by being over aggressive for no reason on D.

No one gambles that hard, I sincerely doubt they let this one slip intentionally to close it out at home.

No one expected the Cavs to win game 5, let alone game 6 even if we account for the suspension and the injuries. It's funny to see some people desperately changing narratives already.

Draymond wouldn't have done much against Kyrie's scoring eruption and Lebron finally hitting jumpers in G5. I think GSW still loses that game if he had played.

Really disappointed in his passing this post season. I thought he was overrated as a passer last year (especially compared to James Harden) because of poor passing when pressured and lazy passes, but I had thought he had worked that out this year. But in the postseason it has come back really hard.
