Not a huge shock for an early Sunday afternoon game in November.

They're doubling AD a lot in this 3rd. Vogel gotta come up with some sort of solution for how much double teams bother AD

Monk must drive Vogel mad with his defensive play. Getting back cut on back to back possessions

Yup, I think I like Ellington more

Higher IQ on both ends and has shown to be a better shooter over a longer time

Monk has better physical tools, but he doesn’t use them on D

I would move Monk if possible for a 3 and d guard/wing

Still unbelievable how AD and our staff can’t figure out the double team

Rondo has been pretty irritating in this one.

THT getting to the basket at will do Vogel decided to take him out with minutes left. Now lead is evaporated, 2 point lead with 3 minutes left and realizes he should not have taken THT out. Good job Vogel.

Let THT play the LeBron role down the stretch.

This team can't put anyone away because they can't rebound. Too many second chances for the Spurs

It feels like the Lakers already have plenty of guards, especially now with THT back forcing Bazemore out of the lineup, then I remember Nunn is still out and coming back soon, and he's one of their non-minimum guys too so he's gonna play for sure. This team's chemistry and rotation won't be set until a month after everyone returns.

They should move Nunn, he does nothing for them. Another small combo guard

Westbrook such a strange player for a guy who's been playing pg for 13 years. Even 20 years old THT is more accurate with the ball

especially since you can't take advantage of having several guys being in good shooting form if they all play the same position.

It's kind of mind-blowing. Granted he wasn't a natural PG to start his career, but some of the mistakes he makes are just baffling at this point.

It is pathetic

THT looked really good except shooting, I don't think he has fixed his shot sadly, but I will give it a couple of weeks

Jumper still looks short on a lot of shots

At least he cuts and takes the ball to the rim

Why move Nunn?

He will be a solid shooter who can create a bit and plays better D than Monk

I would move Monk

Playoff locks:
Lebron, AD, Russ (sadly), THT, Nunn, Dwight

Likely, but minutes heavily depends on matchup:
Melo and Ariza

Maybes:
Reaves, Ellington, Bazemore, Monk

No way:
DJ, Rondo, and Avery (assuming he will be cut)

Core playoff guard rotation:
Russ, THT, Nunn and 1-2 of Bazemore, Reaves, Ellington, Monk

Ellington is a guy though who may legit be useful, but we need a bigger sample size of his defense

Reaves, Bradley, THT, Bazemore, Ariza, Dwight on top of Lebron and AD can def make for a top 10 defense. Literally just need Westbrook to stop losing shooters for 30 minutes every game. This is really just the last major piece of the puzzle. Carmelo, Monk and others can be hidden in spot minutes. You can't really hide Westbrook when he's full on chasing rebounds.

They've been 9th over their past 10 games, without LeBron for a stretch and Ariza out. They're improving steadily on that end, with some hiccups obviously. They should be really good on that end if they get their chemistry and health right.

THT beasted tonight. Caruso too just concluded a legit DPOY level performance against PG13 and the Clippers. I'm not as harsh as others over their choosing THT but it should never have been a pick one situation and I'm surprised Laker faithfuls have so much tolerance for the whole situation. Both players were your franchise's amazing finds and it must be irritating to see other teams benefit from it. Although I do think the Westbrook fit might have also factored into the decision and it wasn't just financial.
