trading him + picks and tht

get back all the overpaid 3 and D players you can find in bad teams (like covington before clippers grabbed him)

addition by substracción to the offense plus helping the defense

It’s more then “crack head refs”.

That last play was reviewed by the league review office. They reviewed it and purposely took away the basket with a bogus call.

Perhaps we are dealing with a crackhead league office.

The sad thing is that they’ve had three players outplay their respective contracts, i.e., Melo, Monk, and Howard, with Johnson providing some decent minutes which are all a plus seeing as how he was out of the NBA.

AD hasn’t though these last 5 games have been promising. THT has been awful and hasn’t lived up to his contract.

Russ just being average would have made for something but he’s just been awful.

I like what I have seen from him.

His defense especially. His rim running, garbage mad offensive contributions has been a bonus.

His defense has been so good he would be a positive even if the averaged five points a game.

Tell me how the face of the league for so long gets 0 respect from the refs. We literally have footage of refs talking to MJ and saying they messed up and will help him out lol.

Just getting tired of seeing scrubs get more calls then him

It’s obvious that this mistreatment is being legislated from the top. It’s far too consistent no to be.

I do not understand why a league would treat the absolute biggest draw in their sport this way. It’s getting outrageous.

Ya I mean in this game alone we had scrubs and fringe all stars getting love just getting breathed on while Bron was not only getting fouled without calls but getting points actively taken away from him.

I just don't understand what the explanation can be for this besides the normal "hes so strong" bs

Been the best athlete on the floor in every game since returning. Playing above the rim and just insanely bouncy.

LeBron's numbers would be insane if he was coddled like MJ was

is insane that old man jordan had so many free throws for shooting like 20% of his shots in the paint

but old man lebron can take much more shots at the rim, take a ton of contact and be given half the free throws lol

The height of this was the 1998 playoffs and the Utah series in general. The 1996 So ice series was also like this with Jordan shooting abysmally but bailed out with free throws on touch fouls.

Very true. I totally understand younger MJ getting a ton of calls because he was electric but older MJ it doesn't make sense.

Westbrook hasn't had a TD in a while. Whenever he gets that his teams win.

Unfortunately he has way more airballs off the backboard than he does triple doubles.

I guess he must be so “big and strong” that his planetary gravity was in the cylinder on that last basket they wrongfully took away.

westbrook triple double always were more about teammates

when okc players were making shots it was easier to get to 10 assists, and when your players hit their spot ups is easier to win

westbrook was fairly consistent in his Production back then

He's gotta work on losing muscle apparently lol. For as much as being strong helps Bron it hurts him the same amount because the refs for some reason decide that being strong means you're not able to fouled. It's not a new thing but it more and more tiring as hes older because he's losing his physical gifts more and more.

This is one of the things that has made me appreciate LeBron even more in his old age though. He finds ways to get it done no matter what. Ya he complains as he should but he gets the job done any way he can which is admirable.

That overtime was Frank Vogel’s best usage of westbrook all season. He needs to go to that more.

It’s totally understandable.

Stern and the league (at the time) were busy pumping up Michael Jordan as a god because he was a cash cow and they were riding the train.

Adam Silver is hell bent on doing the opposite. He is busy trying to minimize and push LeBron out of the spotlight so he can fondle himself over his crop of stars, while toasting to his own genius.

———

This type of blatant mistreatment of a living legend has really soured me against the league in general. Once the LeBron story has been concluded, I will without question turn my back on the NBA.

are there any decent 3 and D players left in the market?

even overpaid ones that bad teams may be willing to give for whatever picks/assets lakers has left (not exactly many)

I agree with this.

Unlike many of these bogus stars the league continues to promote, LeBron does not need the referees to carry him to produce.

I respect that as well.

Starting to think it's also about the opponents. I'm not sure he grabs them in difficult games against tight defenses. Against lowly teams with canyon wide paint defense he's Wilt. Extends to the playoffs.
