I want 1973 peak Nate Archibald video.
Dr J said Archibald was the only player he would pay to watch play basketball.

All there is that I could find is an All Star game and 1975 Archibal playing while injured in a playoff game vs the Bulls in which Norm Van Leir successfully contains Archibald. Really? Is that all there is.

There is 1980 Celtics in which Archibald was fun to watch but he had lost his Iverson level quickness although he was still quick.

I also want 1970 something Kennedy McIntosh as a starter on the mediocre to bad Sonics. Kennedy used to live with me but I can’t find video of him as a player.

We are in the playoff time, so I came up with very rare Wilt clip against the Hawks from G7. Enjoy! :)

Any idea what this is from? It almost sounds AI generated haha.

I think it is, but the quote is from Wilt's book.

You rarely see such moments on the tape. Keep in mind that Russell was 35 at that point and Bill himself called it the best game he ever was part in.

While I'm sure everyone is glad to get more footage, this really shows nothing notable. The athleticism displayed here is routine for modern bigs. It's even less telling than that often cited Russell clip, where he jumps to shoulder level of a short white guy and lays the ball in. Plenty of guys today could jump like that.

It's amazing you don't get more warnings for these sorts of posts.

You can report me every time.

I just have enough of your takes on old players under my posts. I've been providing extremely rare footage of players from 50+ years ago that, let's be honest, none of you would be able to see without me. I have been doing that for years and it costs me a lot of money, time and dedication. I just got a new hidden gem from 1969 finals (one of the most famous series in the league history) and share a cool play from past prime Bill Russell.

What's the reason to come in and say something everyone knows you'll say? We truly don't need a reminder that you don't like old basketball. It's frustrating that I share footage for basketball history fans to enjoy and you always bring in your "they all suck" opinion. Do you really believe we don't know that?

This attitude of entitlement is the biggest problem with this board. The idea you are immune to the same standards everyone else is held to, because you perceive yourself as better than others here. If you feel that way honestly you should leave. I have enjoyed seeing some of your videos before too, but if you're going to adopt that attitude I'll gladly go without them.

Personally of course I'd rather everyone just spoke freely, but if we have to abide by rules on here then I'm going to expect the same from you.

I have no idea how you concluded from my previous post that I perceive myself better than others. I feel better than you because I don't enjoy listening your rambles about how 1960s players were plumbers? Seriously?

I'm glad I'm objective enough to evaluate older players fairly, and without being influenced by nostalgia. You scoff at the idea of old timey players being plumbers, but since most of the guys in the 60s wouldn't make the league today it's an apt comparison. I'm not sure what the average player in 1965 would be doing for work today, but it certainly wouldn't involve playing in the NBA.

If anyone is interested, the league started to put 1980s NBA finals games on their site, but you can't easily find them because the title of each video includes "** DON'T PUBLISH**", like here:

https://www.nba.com/watch/video/1981-finals-gm-2-moses-delivers-in-the-garden

The league is just ridiculous...
