players who played for the best offenses and defenses ever

offense
unsurprinsingly for me Nash tops the list, but this should be a shocker for a lot of people. pace is included as a factor as the result is presented as points per possession. this correlates well with the fact that Nash has been the most impactful offensive player in 2004-2009 according to APM.
I know for a fact that Nash is one of the most controversial players on this board. there are his defenders and there are guys who attack him a lot, but hardly in-betweens. thoughts ?
defense
again, unsurprisingly for me, Bill Russell and his teammates top the list. should be useful for RPOY discussion. Duncan-based defense is 2nd biggest defensive dynasty of all-time. is he an underrated defender all-time ? Garnett edges him easily on the same APM 2004-2009 on defense, but Duncan regressed a lot on defense after 2007 and his defensive prime was probably early 00s. where does he rank among all-time defensive anchors ?
