Gasol can anchor a defense and rebound in the playoffs, Amar'e can't. Dr.J/Gasol.

I've got Dr J ahead of Kobe all-time at 10th place (with Kobe between 11-15) and Gasol ahead of Amare pretty clearly. I'd certainly think Doc and Gasol mesh more.

yep. hes better than amare on defense, but gasol is far from being a "defensive anchor"

on what planet does Gasol put up 42, 41, 37, 34 and 31 against prime Tim Duncan in playoffs?

on what planet does Gasol average 30, 11 with 2 bpg and 62% TS in playoffs?


yeah. amare is clearly better. Gasol is not a much better defender than prime Amare to make up for huge offensive loss.

Thats why he is called STAT. Numbers are only numbers, when your sidekick can score, pass, run, and play defense when it really cares, you know who's the best player. I'm 100% sure, Kobe prefers Gasol instead of Amare. Gasol is more complete than Amare, you dont need a scorer like Amare shooting jumpers when Kobe Bryant leads your team.

I would take Kobe and Amare because Kobe is the best player out of the 4 mentioned by a wide margin.
