Another unseen before footage, this time with peak Kareem. Does anyone know what game could it be?

Also, Embiid plays extremely well this season. I wished him becoming all-time great and he's on a good way to that :)

Did the Cavs ever have home whites like that? #7 looks like Bingo Smith to me.

My first thought was that it is Cavs team indeed but the quality isn't the greatest. If so, then this is probably that game:

I hate NBA for hiding all this rare footage...

It's not completely fair for Embiid because

A) Back then teams rebounded much more tgan today
B) Wilt is untouchable in that aspect :D

This game is, unfortunately, similar to another game from that period on YT. The quality of the play is awful. The players are basically terrible players by today's standards.
Which is why I maintain that the biggest leap in the quality of play from one decade to another was from the early fifties to the sixties.
By the sixties most players were far more skilled and the level of athleticism was much higher.
You can look in vain for a jump shooter in that game. Many of the players looked like they'd never dribbled a basketball in their lives. Many of them traveled before they started dribbling. I stopped counting the air balls after about five minutes.
I saw more skilled high school teams in the early sixties than those pros.

http://www.aparchive.com

Does anybody here have the access to this archive? Today I found some new footage of 1960s and 1970s NBA footage in excellent quality, but even more are unavailable.

You could tell his body wasn't right at this point, but his shot making ability and decision making got him through it. What a performance.

The Bucks were the team that year, but the Lakers were pretty good too. Unfortunately for the Lakers, West not only missed the entire playoffs (which killed any chance of the Lakers upsetting the Bucks), he missed all five Lakers-Bucks games during the regular season.
With a healthy West I'd still have favored the Bucks, but it would have been a lot closer and an upset was not out of the question. Remember, the next year the Lakers won it all with many of the same players.

Correction: West missed only one Lakers-Bucks game that season.
