Is MarShon Brooks The Next Kobe Bryant?

Got the 'fro and got the game.

So similar, composed and smooth on the court just like KB8.

Even "one upped" Kobe's original jersey #8 w/ the # 9, simliar to how Kobe "one upped" Jordan from #23 to #24.

Not saying he's gonna be Kobe but I'm sayin' he could be...you never know. Watching this Nets/ Knicks preseason game and the kid is gonna be nice.

Thoughts?

He looks good and take a lot of Kobe shots I can see similarities.

Yes, and that's why Dwight wants to be traded to Nets. Prime DWill and Future Kobe.

I’ve read some interviews you’ve done recently and it seems you’re now a little bothered about the Kobe Bryant comparisons. Is that right?

MB: I respect Kobe Bryant’s game so much that I don’t think anybody should be compared to him. I might play like him a tiny bit, but I would say I play more like Jamal Crawford than Kobe Bryant.

What is it with the "next syndrome" ?

This kid is gonna be playing on an awful team, probably gonna put up numbers but they're empty on a team going nowhere.

No but I'm expecting to emerge as a perenniel 17ppg+ player, on bad percentages, but still, probably a good pick to have either off your bench or to dangle in the future
