He has been so bad this season lol, I've said out loud "play some defense Stat" so many times this year.

Its hard to be a good team when you play defense like that. And he doesnt even rebound anymore

He is absolutley the worst defender I've ever seen, and he'll be the reason why we get swept by Miami or Chicago instead of losing in 5 or 6. He makes David Lee look like Hakeem Olajuwon. It's a disgrace. He had another gem last night. Someone was driving, I can't remember who, and this fool was facing the basket, not having one single clue at what was going on.

He plays defense straight up. It would be nice if he learned how to bend his knees every once in a while.

The Parker gif is my favorite. Amare moves as much as Dan Majerle on his infamous travel.

How does somebody get away with that. One of his teammates should have checked him by now, how do you let a **** just chill on D like that? Thats everybodys fault. smh. I'd be fighting one of my teammates if he did that all year. And we're playing for a championship? FOH.

If anyone was motivated to watch the Bucks you'd have at least as many Gooden clips.

amare also has to be the worst rebounder for someone of his size, absolutely unbelievable

FTR, although Deron is a bad defender (consistently negative on defense), the 10-year study is too long imo.

If you look at the 08-11 RAPM study: Deron is at -1.0, Nash is at +0.1, and Amare is at -0.9.

And year by year for Deron:

08: -0.3
09: -0.8
10: +0.5
11: -1.5
12: -1.3

His defense year by year really hasn't been a big deal either way until the last two years, when he's been pretty bad.

Amare year by year, from 08-12, not including 09 because he only played 53 games:

08: -1.9
10: -0.7
11: -2.7
12: -2.2
