Which players are too passive and need to shoot more?

CP3 has to be number 1

I agree with CP3. He has the capabilities to take over games.

Stephen Curry, too. I feel like he'd be having more big games if he didn't defer to Jarrett Jack during long stretches. Only reason he scored 54 in MSG is because he forced himself a super big green light due to Lee and Bogut being out, but he should be having that green light even when all his teammates are healthy.

Maybe Chris Bosh, too? Nothing wrong with playing third wheel to Wade and LeBron, but Bosh has the capabilities to take over a game as well.

CP3 isn't passive - he wouldnt be able to sustain going 110% for the whole game. He defers until crunch time and waits for the right moment to take over

Passive players are the ones who are under-utilizing their skills and would be much better if they were more aggressive. Charlie V, Vince Carter, Harrison Barnes, Tyreke Evans, Demar Derozan - basically anyone athletic enough to get to the rim consistently but settles for bad/jumpshots.

Pau Gasol for sure. He's the most skilled big man, can easily average 20+ ppg if he was just more aggressive. His first 2 options are Pass-Pass, and if no one is there to pass it to, he'll try to get his own shot.

Back in the day, Lamar Odom. Getting him to shoot was like pulling teeth.

Iguodala, if he had the right mentality he could have been a superstar.

All-time, it has to be John Stockton. How many times does Karl Malone have to choke in the clutch before you realize that you might have to look for your shot more in crunch time?

Melo needs to look for his own shot more. Just for a few games the he can go back to facilitating.
