Mystic won't participate as he has been banned a few weeks ago. I was shocked when I found out about it, terrific poster.

Oh, and NugzHeat3/Double Clutch should definitely be in, too.

Apparently it has something to do with this thread.

I was told not to post on that thread too. Not for anything I said being inaccurate or offensive, but because I "kept on putting forth my views" and they "were not welcome here". I continue to be amazed by what you can be banned/warned for on internet message boards. Ah well, that's not what life's about anyway.

I liked mysticbb as a poster a lot, he's obviously incredibly intelligent.

I don't think he deserved that. If you actually read through the thread, mysticbb was clearly provoked by another poster, who hid behind the cop-out excuse of "I was joking" and "I didn't mention you in my post", when it was pretty obvious that he was making fun of mysticbb. Of course he's going to respond to that, and of course he's not going to take kindly to it, because that poster was being a giant bitch by passive aggressively going after him, and then running away when called out on it.

I don't really know mysticbb's history on the Bulls board though...I mean, apparently he had a history of being condescending according to KingCuban (an excellent poster and one of my favorite mods), so I obviously don't know the whole backstory, and he shouldn't have continued it with KingCuban after being warned, but it sucks to see a great poster banned like that when he clearly wasn't the guy at fault there, at least imo.

haha, well mysticbb can come across as sharp and condescending, but the dude is pure no non-sense and I respect that. Plus, I've always enjoyed reading what he had to say because he doesn't talk out of his arse and always has pretty legitimate reasons behind his thinking. I guess some people are just too quickly insulted, no surprise really. I rather have someone tell me that I know nothing about a certain topic and try to educate me than someone who doesn't really contribute anything meaningful to a discussion.

Just to be 100% clear, it sounds like posters are only nominating themselves and may not be chosen to participate, at least in the beginning?

Everyone can ask their favorite posters to sign up, but they have to sign up themselves unless they PM one of the mods to sign them up instead of posting. I'd love to get as many good posters on this project as I can but remember, by signing up you are committing yourself to stay through the offseason, not just for a couple of weeks.

Was that in response to me? If so, I wasn't too clear.

If a poster asks to be part of the project in this thread, are they automatically a full, voting member from the start? Or will there be some weeding out?

I'd love to participate, but I'll be away at a few conferences with unknown Internet access from this Saturday until around July 14th. Could I send my list to someone to vote for me?

Moonbeam, that would be fine. PM to any mod . . . rrravenred is down under as well if you have local preferences.

Laimbeer, many people listed other posters they thought should be included. As for the other question, I have no reason to weed people out yet . . . if people don't participate after signing up, they will be removed. If they violate the COC, they will be removed. Or, if one of the other mods asks me to remove them (for example, a banned poster using a new identity), they will be removed. But I am not going to prejudge posters I don't know and there is no one currently posting on this board that I feel is not capable of contributing in a positive manner.

Very glad to see that this project will be up and running. Unfortunately due to work/vacation over the summer I can't commit to the time and dedication needed for this.

If ok, I will post where I can. If not, completely understandable as well.

Pen....thx again for taking the lead on this and running!

I'd like to sign up. Is there anyway mysticbb can join in after he's unbanned? Wouldn't be the same without him.

Sure McGill, you can. If mystic gets unbanned, he is welcome . . . as long as he doesn't start insulting other posters.

I have not been posting on here for that long, but I have been compiling my list for quite some time and I am currently in the middle of re-doing my rankings. I would like to sign up but get it if I haven't been here long enough.
Okay Brand, Michael Jackson didn't come over to my house to use the bathroom. But his sister did.
