He was pretty **** in the first half on that end.

But very, very good in the 3rd.

Ah, I only caught the 2nd quarter. I guess it's not wholly there yet but I still see this as a progression over last year thus far.

Oh absolutely. You've seen my long ass post about the Cavs defensively.

Showing everything doesn't work without Lebron being awesome on sliding the nail and helping over on the lane constantly.

No surprise his steals are way up in the winning streak. He's gotten a bunch of swipes on big guys catching the ball on the roll in every game I've watched. He got really good at that last year to compensate for some of the laziness.

So assuming a 20-25 point win tonight, Cleveland has played like a +15 SRS team on this 7 game winning streak (roughly +12ish offense, -6.5 defense).

I've always wondered why Haywood doesn't get any burn since one of Cleveland's weaknesses is giving up points in the paint and rim protection per se. Is he really that bad?

James Jones has also been a lot better at the ''Mike Miller'' role than the actual Mike Miller.

Just ran actual calculations with HCA and opponent strength factored in. In this 7 game stretch they've put up a +14.6 MOV, +13.0 SRS, +10.4 Offense, and -5.1 Defense. On the season they're at +5.6 Offense, -0.2 Defense.

The 7 game win streak is the longest streak that both kyrie irving and kevin love have ever been a part of in the nba.

That win streak was the apex of my Lebron fandom on this board. It was nuts.

Crazy how Lebron just turned it up at the end of the 2nd on both ends. Think the cavs will have an awesome 2nd half
