RealGM's Top 3 for 2015/2016 - Part Two

by Mr. E
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to everyone at RealGM! The holidays are nice & all, but as basketball fans what we are seeing at the end of 2015 is a good chunk of the NBA season in the books, and my god how good are the freaking Warriors?

At the beginning of the season I started a thread asking RealGM posters to rate their top 3 in multiple categories. That was the first of four voting periods and this is the second. The aim of this project is to track the opinions of RealGM users over the course of the long NBA season. For those interested, the first thread can be found at this link:

viewtopic.php?p=44914925#p44914925

Now that we've had a few months to see what we are dealing with I'd like to re-visit these topics. If you did not participate in the first round of voting do not let that stop you from participating in this round, or in future rounds!

What I ask for each ballot is to list three choices for each category in order from First to Third. **You do not have to vote for each category, but I will only count votes that have three choices (1-3) for that category** At the end of the voting period (January 8, 2016) I will tabulate all of the votes and post the collective results of the Top Three according to the RealGM posters for this voting period. I will tabulate the results by two different measures:

First will be ranked by points received. A first place vote gets 3 points; a second place vote gets 2 points; and a third place vote gets 3 points. This is why the order matters, and Ties are not allowed. If a ballot lists anyone in a Tie then I will count them by the order in which they are mentioned.

The Second measure will be for an overall total of mentions on submitted ballots.

With that in mind I would like to continue this event for the posters of RealGM in which we will submit ballots ranking our top three players at every position as well as a few other categories now that we have a few months of the season on record. This time around I have added a category for Rookies that was not in the original round of voting.

I'd like to ask everyone to keep discussion to a minimum in this thread while the voting period is open.

After this round of votes the next voting period will be All-Star Break and we will conclude this event with a final vote at the end of the Regular Season. It should be interesting to see how opinions may change over the course of one season.

Feel free to edit your votes as much as you want during the voting period. I won't start tallying things up until mid-next week at the earliest.

Once you've seen a +1 from me by your vote you'll know that I've counted it. If you make a change after that just make sure to let me know the change that you made.
