Do the 2013 Heat have a chance against this team or would they at least fare better than the Cavs currently are?

They've got a peak LeBron who would fare better defensively against this Warriors team and Bosh who is probably better suited in this matchup compared to Thompson or Love.

My real worry with this team would be the guard positions where Chalmers and Wade are going to have a real tough time staying locked in against Curry and Thompson. I remember the Warriors under Mark Jackson giving the Heat some tough matchups so I'm not really convinced here.

I'm taking the Warriors.

I don't think I would take any team in history over these Warriors, under current rules at least.

I sort of like the 2008 Celtics out of all the recent teams.

They were a bit in front of their time with the way they were constructed. They were shooting corner threes before it became a common thing, they had a highly versatile anchor in KG and they had a number of shooters on the roster.

Defensively Rondo was good back then too.

I'm a Heat homer but cmon. Outside of Finals game 4 Wade was a shell of himself in the '13 yoffs and Bosh was still making the difficult transition to stretch big.

Warriors but that Heat team would have put up a better fight than the Cavs. That was a good defensive team with Lebron in his prime.

Healthy I was pretty adamant that the healthy 13 Heat (RS Wade) in my mind were an easy favourite over last years Warriors because of matchups and the way that Heat team defended. Heat were pioneers of the aggressive blitzing switching defense as well as prayed on live ball turnovers (Warriors flaw) with Bron and Wade. As well they played like the slowest pace in the league otherwise just methodically picking out mismatches moving the ball until they got an open shot which a slow pace is a good thing against these Warriors.

Given the way Lebron pooped on the Warriors (once he found his jumper which he had all year in 13), with a better supporting cast (especially defensively) I think that was I was right or at least not wrong.

They would be pretty large underdogs to this Warriors team. However having Battier/ Miller would be a big difference in having Durant sized defenders to allow Bron to roam. In addition to Bron just naturally having a bigger gas tank.

They would fair better than the Cavs (just because of defense and style of play) but still unlikely to win.

If it's the Heat of the winning streak.. I can see a chance for them. Slight underdogs.

If it's the gassed team that arrived in the playoffs... I see GSW destroying them.

I guess it's about the time they face each other.

However, I can see a scenario of GSW crushing the Heat. Not the opposite. So I'd say GSW are the bettter team (well, I think they're the best team in NBA history).

Against a healthy warriors team I think it would be a push. They'd have to adjust somewhat to avoid getting roasted as they did in 2014 to the spurs, yes I know the team defense was a lot worse but I dont think the heat would sell out as much to protect the paint and force the warriors to make 3's
