although I'm extremely back and forth with Curry vs Westbrook, and 8,9,10

Mike Conley should be top 5 or six. He is like a worse version of CP3, but really not much worse. If you look at every sub-category of offense Conley is elite. Spot-up, ISO, P&R, cutting, etc. And he's also a very good defender, and he also showed the takeover gene vs San Antonio

all that being said I still can't see myself taking Conley over Kyrie or Lillard. I like his defense so I could probably be convinced of 7-9 but I think it's so close between all of them it might just be preferences honestly.

Yeah I think its fairly close between the three of them. For as good as Dame is, CJ's a legit all star, and the blazers still only won 42 games. In a vacuum i dont think Conley's actually worse than either of them, but I think Kyrie's maximum value as a scorer in the best situation is better than both dame and conley's, but both prob. better in a vacuum

Bledsoe and Dragic are probably the closest to the 10 listed, but I think the list probably has the right 10 as is (if you exclude Harden).

Just curious where would you rank Harden on this list

IMO if Harden is included then 3rd

Curry
CP3
Westbrook
Lowry
Wall
Lillard
Conley

Pretty clear top 7 for me, 8-10 there's a lot of guys to pick from, seems pretty team dependent.

What's your rationale for Wall and Lillard over Conley?

If '17 Conley is the new Conley, I don't see those guys over him.

I don't expect '17 Conley is some new Conley, and generally think he got more credit than he deserved last season (at the expense of Marc)

Though in tiers it would be:
Curry
CP3/Westbrook
Lowry
Wall/Dame/Conley

Don't have any problems with different orders within tiers.

Assuming Conley is basically as good next year, where does he rank?

A lot of you guys are really underrating IT. He outplayed Wall in the playoffs last year after leading the Celtics to the 1 seed as the only real offensive threat on the team. I know his defense is atrocious but he's seriously underrated if some of you think he's not a top 5 or 6 point guard in the league. A lot of those guys above him did far less with far more talent than IT did this year.

Someone talking about John Wall's will to win, how about IT's will to win? The guy played his best in the biggest moments last year and was Mr. 4th Quarter for the entire year. I'm not saying he's the best PG in the league but if you base it simply on last year then he's absolutely top 5.

I totally agree with the OP list when it comes to the top 3. My top 3 are also Westbrook, Curry and Wall... below that it's very hard to rank though, I feel like there's a lot of players on close enough levels that it all depends on what the rest of the team is like.
