Rk Player Season Age G GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS
Stephen Curry 2014-15 26 80 80 2613 9.0 18.5 .487 3.9 8.9 .443 5.1 9.6 .528 4.2 4.6 .914 0.8 3.9 4.7 8.5 2.2 0.2 3.4 2.2 26.2
Isaiah Thomas 2016-17 27 76 76 2569 9.6 20.6 .463 3.4 9.1 .379 6.1 11.6 .528 8.3 9.1 .909 0.6 2.3 2.9 6.3 1.0 0.2 2.9 2.3 30.8

Do Warriors still win the title if IT would replace Curry? Stats suggest so. Very similar production/impact.

Stephen Curry by like an infinite amount. Like it's so much better that it's crazy to compare the two.

Stephen Curry was very very underrated, he was incredible in the PS and IT has not come close to the impact Curry had.

MVP winner version of Curry is not worth discussing. Maybe 2013 Curry vs Isaiah is a convo

Lol...what stats/impact are you looking at?

On/Off -
Curry: +17.8
Thomas: +4.7

Net Rating -
Curry: +21
Thomas: +5

TS% -
Curry: 64%
Thomas: 62.5%

BPM -
Curry: 10
Thomas: 5.5

WS/48 -
Curry: .288
Thomas: .234

RPM -
Curry: 9.34
Thomas: 1.83

you sure about this? 14-15 Curry blows Thomas out of the water across the board. There isn't even 1 argument for Thomas.

Their box scores may look close, but Curry wasn't the defensive liability Thomas is, and watching Thomas play I don't feel he makes teammates better and his box scores easily overrate his impact.

Curry makes his teammates better by his gravity alone. He's like the opposite of a black hole!

Curry was the best player in the NBA at that point, he is easily better than Thomas. Curry is a much better passer than Isaiah is on top of being a more consistent scoring threat.

I'm unclear why this is even a question.

Forget Curry, I'd take Klay over IT.

Don't think I've ever been less impressed by a guy scoring 29ppg over a season.

Man IT is really underrated. Guy had lesser team than Curry, yet carried them to the first seed.

I was thinking this was year before MVP curry. Who is underrated but I'd take IT who's even more underrated.

But MVP curry is pretty easily better.

All these numbers, except TS%, are heavily depended on team performance. Curry had the likes of Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Iguadola, and Andrew Bogut supporting him. They were all playing at all-star level that year. Thomas had no where near a similar talented supporting cast.

Curry's BPM/RPM would look way worse if he were not surrounded by elite defensive players.

You're more than welcome to elaborate on that, but this comparison just isn't a good one on any level.

This would be Steph clearly even if we're talking 2012-13 or 2013-14 pre-MVP version Steph.
