2014 James is on a short list of the greatest offensive seasons in NBA history. It hurts me because I'm Kawhi fan and I don't like LeBron at all, but I don't see Leonard being better than peak offensive James.

Adding a poll is helpful. I'd say this is definitely Lebron. Both saw a defensive slip from previous seasons and turned it up when necessary. Even if we give Kawhi the edge on defense, the offensive edge in Lebron's favor is clearly bigger he was a better scorer and playmaker.

LeBron by a very significant margin in my mind. Kawhi hasn't ever reached that level of dominance.

While it wasn't his greatest season or anything, it's still prime Lebron, which skillset wise is just a different class than Kawhi. It's not even clear how much better on defense Kawhi was

Not a fair comparison. 14 LeBron as many have said is one of the greatest offensive players we've ever seen.
