I've seen MJ and LeBron is comfortably ahead. The legacy argument is somewhat subjective but as players considering their skills and abilities it is not really that debatable.

LeBron is to MJ what the iPhone was to flip phones.

I kinda agree that LeBron can agrued as the better player at this point (player wise not career wise) but it sounds like your understating MJ here, 88-92 MJ was pretty much the pennicle of bball artisty and dominance.....he was the best player I ever seen until LeBron came along......but still close as hell man lol

I feel bad for all the people that love MJ, or Kobe, or whoever so much that they aren't appreciating watching the rare phenom that LeBron truly is.

That is why I say, even if LeBron left us again this time for HOU, as annoyed as I would be, I am going to enjoy watching him while he is here in the league, because this kind of talent only comes around once in a generation.

This kind of talent has literally never come around before.

Weird revelation: forget the absurdity of that behind the back bounce pass, but LeBron is unusually accurate at hitting players on the baseline from weird angles.

So I finally believe he can break the scoring record now
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

What a majestic performance. His 2nd best performance of the year to the 57 point game imo.

His passing, shooting touch, and rim attacks were all incredible last night. It's so hard to choose what the most impressive aspect of his offensive game was last night. The power/precision/vision of his passing was on full display, but then you also have him shooting lights out and feeling his touch so much that he even dropped it in lefty. And if that wasn't enough, he reminds you that he's still an athletic powerhouse with his rim attacks.

2009 LeBron was like a runaway freight train. 2013 LeBron was such a well-oiled machine on both ends of the floor. But this is my favorite version of LeBron. His offensive variety has never been more visually pleasing or effective imo, and his confidence is through the roof.

Plus his defense right now is no worse than his defense in the first half 2013. If he can uptick his defense even a little bit in the playoffs, I have no problem calling this peak LeBron.

09

October: 21.8
November: 32.5
December: 32.2

2013

October: No October IIRC
November: 26.7
December: 31.1

2014

October: 22.6
November: 29.9
December: 28.3

Historically it's Dec when he starts to somewhat ramp it up and then goes absurd in Jan and Feb. Right near the end he starts to rest a bit too.

I believe he had one of his turnovers in the opening minutes before he ever registered an assist, and then he had another turnover off the dribble late in the game. He had to have had 15+ assists consecutively without a turnover.

47 games away from tying the double-digit scoring streak.

He had a 161 game streak prior to this one, until an 8 point game vs. Milwaukee in 2007 (W 95-86). Game Recap.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

And less significant, but he'll take the 5-point scoring streak sometime in the next month.

I wonder if the double figure streak was something he was going for at that point. Hard to imagine him only taking 13 shots now if his streak was on the line.

There's only been two times I can remember during this streak where I thought he might finish with less than 10, both against Memphis.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201303010MIA.html
https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201510280MEM.html

In the 2013 one he started the 4th with only 4 points, hit double figures with 6 mins left in the game. In the 2016 one he had 9 during a blowout entering the 4th, stayed in the game, then proceeded to get an offensive foul on a postup, brick a three, then brick two FTs before finally making 2 at the line to save the streak.

Just got it from RealGM's stat section. Not sure how their PER differs though.

Edit: I am assuming theirs is not cumulative and based on the range.
