Better player? Jordan. Fresh off a DPOY and played both ends of the floor exceptionally well. This is also in his athletic prime, and for these stretches he leads Curry in just about every advanced metric

VORP: Curry: 20.2 Jordan: 31.9
WS/48: Curry: .229 Jordan: .299
OWS/DWS/WS: Curry: 29.3 / 11 / 40.2 Jordan: 44.1 / 14.9 / 59.1
TS%: Curry: .612% Jordan: .608%
PER: Curry: 24.3 Jordan: 31.3
BPM: Curry: 7.56 Jordan: 11.33

Not even really close to be honest. Should probably include Curry's 16 season and Jordans 88

You can't compare Curry to MJ without giving him his 2016 season and even then its still MJ.

There's no point in comparing peak/prime Jordan to pre-peak/early-prime Curry and you know that. Not sure what you're trying to accomplish all the time with those kind of threads (as we all know you're already having a strong opinion yourself when you create your comparison-threads).

More interesting to shift Curry years to 2015-2017, although it still involves a comparison to MJ which at this point is a newly discovered radioactive element.

If it was 15-17 Curry, I'd probably (not completely sure) take Curry. I wouldn't take him over any later variations of Jordan though (90-92 or 91-93, for example).

Its peak MJ. Best player who ever played. Curry is top-10 peak.

Curry's in his peak/prime, don't kid yourself.

This weird rule people have made up that players prime from 27-32 isn't true, especially of point guards who rely on quickness.

Curry obviously.

The Bulls have won 6 titles which makes them an organization known for winning. Jordan’s titles mean less. Curry meanwhile won a title with a team who had only won once before, but it was with Rick Barry who nobody likes and was before the internet so no one remembered it, so basically he took a franchise that never won before. Plus Curry played in a more pure era with Alfa players like Rose and Wade, Jimmy who locks down LeBron and Carmelo who is lebron’s equal. Wade was good enough to win MVP in 2016 but Curry won it because he was better, that’s how good Curry is.

Plus when Jordan was playing players smoked cigarettes on the sideline and had part time jobs, and didn’t play defense. And humanity has evolved a lot in the last 20 years.

I still can't believe Wade was snuffed in the MVP vote for the past two seasons. I think this year will be the year, as long as James doesn't get in the way.
