Who's Better: Lonzo Ball or Luka Doncic?

2. At the moment of their draft?
3. Who's got higher potential?

I really like Lonzo, but:

1- Doncic;
2 -Doncic;
3 - Doncic.

I haven't watched that much of Doncic, but is he even a point guard? He seems kind of slow.

He is PG/SG/SF hybrid.

If lonzo had even a slightly below avg shot, it'd be him clearly imo. Right now his form is horrendous and I don't think his shooting will improve barring a complete overhaul of his shot.

Doncic looks way more skilled than Lonzo. Athletic ability wise, Doncic looks perhaps a bit less than prime Manu, but still decent enough.

I’ll go with the one who didn’t have 36/31/45 shooting splits.

Doncic will have a much better rookie reason than lonzo that’s for sure

Luka is the better shooter but Lonzo is the better athlete. Would prob go with Doncic because he's more versatile and comes with less baggage.

1. Dončić - Better skillset, better offensive player, better defensive player, better passer, higher IQ

2. Dončić - Played in higher competition, played against better competition, better player all-around at draft-time

3. Dončić - Only thing Dončić is lacking is athleticism, trainers will prepare him like any other player and he will be fine. He has higher ceiling and potential to be All-NBA player, Lonzo is right now considered as bust by most people, and will never reach All-NBA level IMO.

Luka but both will be all stars in 5 years

Luka is the real deal.

I think Lonzo is one of most overrated players in NBA history, so I’m going to go with Doncic.

Didn’t Doncic just lead his team to the Euroleage championship at an extremely young age for that league...as well as win MVP? Lonzo got outplayed in the NCAA tournament by DAaron Fox which was a tournament of players w/ the same age and experience level here in this country - the guys in Euroleage are seasoned pros, NCAA is mostly college players w/ some lottery bound dudes mixed in.

The difference is that Luka’s will be earned.
Lonzo’s will be league/Lakers/LaVar/publicity/ESPN based and he still won’t be able to shoot and will be afraid to play against D’Aaron Fox !

Yes, he is a point guard. He is slowish, but he has very good handle, he can dribble around defenders and get to his spot very easily. Doncic is easily better than Lonzo, but I like both players.

Luka is big, strong, creative, good pick and roll passer, good rebounder and natural fast break starter after getting defensive rebound.

There are tons of videos on youtube. Honestly, I am Luka Doncic fan, and I have seen a lot of his games, but his highlights usually bore me, his biggest strength is his ability to control the game, just know what to do, when to pace up and when to slow down. That often doesn't show in highlight videos. Kid is truly a prodigy and savant.

That said, this is video I made, this is his Eurobasket 2017 highlights, might as well plug it while we are talking about him.
