The two highest 3PA for a team in a game have been in the Rockets' last two games: 70 and 68.

Man that Rockets-Sixers game was so bizarre. Never seen anything like it.

Harden scored 37 of his team's 63 points after 3.... but the Sixers led by 31. The team around him was completely useless.

Has anyone been losing interest in the NBA this season? I have. I just feel like almost every game is meaningless since we have a team capable of starting 5 all stars, there's just no competing against that. A team is damn near lucky if they have one all star, and you want to go against one that's trotting 5 out there? It kills any interest I have.

Hopefully next year there's a little more parity, but this season there's just no fun it feels like.

I simply don't care about anything the Warriors do, so it really doesn't bother me that much.

The Eastern Conference is fun and competitive this year. Giannis is fun to watch and Harden is playing like the offensive GOAT.

Don’t enjoy Golden State though and don’t enjoy when their fans preaching about “teamwork and chemistry” when every player in their starting lineup has made an all-NBA team within the last three years.

Yes, this is the least entertaining season since 2007.

None of the top 5 players are in their peak.
The top 10 players that have improved haven't made substantial enough improvements to impact the season or the entertainment value of the league(PG, Embiid, Jokic).
Every top player has help, to the point that the biggest carry job this season relative to roster is actually on a lottery team(Nikola Vucevic).
There is a clear front runner(the Warriors).
There hasn't been a team with substantial improvement like 2017 Indiana
ROY has all but been decided.
The two most entertaining players, in LeBron and Curry, have been hurt most of the year.

I think it's more funnier because the Warriors aren't even the reason this season is even worse than last season or the year prior.
East #1 Draft Picks: Fultz, Banchero, Wiggins, Cuninigham
West #1 Draft Picks: Edwards, WIlliamson, Ayton, Towns

Bold claim: Harden will score 80+

Post#788 » by Joao Saraiva » Thu Jan 24, 2019 1:38 am

I think Harden will be the 3rd player in the history of the game to score 80+ in a single game. Think it can happen?

Until Paul gets back I'm not counting anything out.

This doesn't warrant its own thread.

Damn, that’s awful. I went to college with Vic. Used to see him around campus sometimes. Never really talked to him but apparently he was the nicest, most down to earth guy. Thought we were gonna win the title with him and Cody Zeller the year they declared.

Wish him all the best. Is there a diagnosis yet?

Nothing official. I think it's like Roberson though, seems like he was playing while not 100 percent and it blew out.

I don't find this season to be interesting for what ever reason, but the playoffs will be really fun for sure. A lot of evenly matched teams going into the post season.

Sure a bunch of evenly matched teams but one team literal light years ahead of everyone. Unless one of KD or Curry is injured they are a literal lock to win it all.

Meh....

For the first time I'm definitely spending more time browsing the forum and listening to pods than actually watching games.

I'm in it for the drama. Season was over in 2016, so have the last 2. EC playoffs might be fun.

Actually without the Warriors I see a ton of teams that could win it all. But with the Warriors... it kind of ruins the fun.

If they didnt' exist I'd give at least an outside to every of these teams:
1. OKC
2. Lakers
3. Spurs
4. Jazz
5. Portland
6. Bucks
7. Toronto
8. Denver
9. Philadelphia
10. Bosotn
11. Houston

I might be forgetting someone.

Agree with all except 3-5. I can't see those teams winning the title under any circumstances.

Huh?

-Harden, Giannis, Davis all seem to be at their best seasons so far.
-Harden and Giannis have improved considerably but that is a very subjective statement.
-Have you seen what Harden is working with over the last month? Or LeBron when he's healthy?
-I mean they're on an 8 game winstreak now but the Bucks are still clearly the best team in the league.
-The Nuggets? Hello?
-Is that a bad thing? Luka has been the best rookie we've seen in a long time.
-There are plenty of other entertaining players. Curry missed like 10 games and yeah LeBron has missed a month but this is the most loaded the league has ever been. Someone like PG would be a top 5 guy any other year but he's fringe top 10 so far.
