Streetball? Since you can't foul out you can just hack Lebron when he rushes to the basket. Jordan/Durant will make way more shots than the second team.

I'd take Jordan and Durant, but if you switched the teams around, I'd take LeBron and Durant over Jordan and Kobe.

Kobe is just too big a liability. Jordan / Durant easy choice.

Durant is unguardable. MJ is the best defender.

I think that's a tougher pairing to call, but I'd actually take MJ-Kobe. I'm more in the Kobe-was-a-high-volume-inefficient-chucker camp than not, but his first step was incredible. In a 2-on-2 scenario with almost no help defense, I think Kobe could feast at the rim and on close-enough mid-range Js that he would be highly efficient in this type of game.
I also think prime MJ and prime Kobe running a 2-man full-court defense would be a thing of beauty.
KD would need Lebron to get the ball up the court every possession.

Noone holding KD 1v1.

Kobe said the last player he never figured out before he retired was KD, story will be the same.

LBJ owns Durant.

MJ and KD easily.

MJ, KD, and Lebron are all in the same tier of offensive production. Kobe is a tier below them.

Way better physical specimen, better defender, finisher, stronger, more clutch. I'll be GENEROUS and say Kobe is equal skilled, but the physical dominance of MJ is way too much for Kobe to overcome.

Lebron is like >> KD

In a 1v1 situation, Lebron would rate even higher in a vs, but in a team match up where Lebron has to make up for Kobe's deficiencies against the GOAT, sorry, but KD will be less of a liability.

Lebron can likely match and even overcome Jordan's physical strength, but KD playing off of MJ will just be draining mid and 3pt shots like crazy.

By this logic, you can maul kd on a jumpsjot. Im taking lebron to.get the most and 1s of any of those 4.

Talking about prime here, so ignoring weaker old man years. Kobe was good scorer and defender on his prime, so to be honest I'm not sure would he be the weakest link. As a pure 1-vs-1 player on his prime I actually think LeBron is the weakest out of these 4. Rest of the group have better shooting. Lebron is a good shooter nowadays, but when he was younger his shooting wasn't great and as an old man he is now quite picky when to drive. Did he ever master these two at the same time? Big part of Lebron's offense is the passing, but that is an useless skill in 2-vs-2 game. Defensively I also would take KD&Jordan pairing. I think those are the best two defenders out of these 4.

The best part is that not a single one of the baskets he made was being defended by Jordan from what I can recall it was Stackhouse and Russell guarding him, yet somehow he 'destroyed Jordan'.

I'm by no means a Kobe hater, I was never a fan but find myself defending him more often than I'd like to on the GB however this isn't going to be one of those times. It was an outstanding shooting performance but had nothing to do with Jordan and yeah Jordan was what 41? Come on now...

Yea it’s pretty not close. Kobe and LBjs games are just too ball dominant to work effectively. The better comparison would be if it’s MJ/LBJ versus KD/Kobe.
