Pretty soft call to sit Giannis down.

What a luxury to have Brook Lopez. You forget that Splash Mountain was the go-to All-Star option for those Nets teams, and in a pinch can still turn back the clock, like during this fourth quarter.

Giannis gets fouled out in the middle of a monster game, the Bucks run their offense through Lopez and he completely dominates Tucker on like 5 straight possessions. We all saw this one coming.

Harden went like 0-6 on step back threes and couldn't hit anything, Gordon was god awful, and Sefolosha, House, and Rivers were invisible. Harden will shoot better, but I'm not sure how much I really like Houston's wings.

Hoped I would be able to take more from that game, but it was pretty sloppy. I guess Russell seemed to fit well enough to confirm that they would compete for the top western seed. Still want to see how they handle the Jazz, 76ers, and Clippers before I have a fair grasp of their actual quality, though.

Yeah PJ Tucker on that guy is not going to work. His post game is what made him an All-Star.

It's a real strange feeling watching the Warriors and thinking that Dlo played on a more talented team a year ago.

Warriors defense is gonna be bottom 10 this year for sure. Hell even the lineups with Draymond wont even be average IMO

you are being generous. I would say probably bottom 10 in the history of the game.

Draymond should still have them above Bulls, Knicks, Hawks, Cavs, Wiz, Wolves and maybe Sac and Phoenix with Ayton missing 25 games now but Suns actually have some good defenders. He isnt good enough to carry them beyond that tho

Draymond can't recover 3 bad defenders's mistakes..I saw three players (DLO, Pascall and forgot the last one) standing between three point line and paint and defending neither. It's worse than some preseason game defense out there.

True he only had to cover 1 (Steph) in most of the finals runs

This Warriors team has no margin for error. If they have any injuries to their top 3 guys, they could just bottom out.

we're 1 Curry ankle roll away from being the worst team in the league, it's that bad

Myers has done a terrible job prepping for this day

I fell asleep in the middle of the third thinking Houston was safe with a 16 point lead aha.

Tucker did an awesome job on Giannis in the first half, should’ve drawn like 4 charges. He defends Giannis better than anyone besides Kawhi IMO. The physicality and long minutes wear him down eventually because there’s no one on the team who can do that.

Westbrook and the bench unit built the big lead with Russ’ speed in transition and shooting. Russ is really going to be a jolt in the arm offensively for this team, even the Harden-led unite were playing with more pace and energy.

Harden was atrocious, nothing more to say about that.

One of my favorite things this season will be watching Draymond lose his **** 5-6 times a game because these young guys don’t know how to set screens

Really not sure what Kerr’s trying to do with this motion offense. It’s a bit obstinate to not run more pick and roll with Curry and Dray especially with so many new guys who look so uncoordinated together.

we have a conflict of interest, D-Lo is primarily a PnR guy but Kerr doesn't like running the PnR

really D-Lo is an absolutely terrible fit on this team.

Just finished watching Bucks-Rockets

- I think the fit between Harden and Westbrook looked pretty good despite the shooting numbers and it being the first game. Both had great passing games and were not overdribbling the ball. Harden had off shooting night and foul trouble. Interested to see how many 3s Westbrook attempts this year since he's not allowed to take midrange and man's gotta eat. I think CP is a better player than Westbrook but the Rockets are likely to have better chemistry this year so it could be balance out. Chandler and McLemore could be good pickups for them, Chandler gives them an old version of Capela and McLemore is going to be getting open 3s so this is his shot. At one point Chandler had his arm around McLemore on the bench, I think he will be good for the lockeroom. Enjoyed the Brodie chants for Westbrook.

- Impressive resilience by the Bucks considering they looked out in first half with Giannis having a bad game to that point, then he brought them back. It will be hard to beat a team who makes a smart play nearly every possession while playing good D and having Giannis. Giannis jumpshot looked good, I think he will work himself into becoming a solid shooter at some point whether it's now or in a few years, which is horrifying. I like them getting Matthews and Korver

- Khris Middleton 5 years 178 million is a crime
