Don't know about that. Wade-Lebron lineups were actually really good(better than 9-10 cleveland) without bosh. And the difference in raw value is massive.

So? Crying about bias without actually demonstrating bias is simply poisoning the well. If you can't be bothered to address the topic at hand then I don't see why you would try to meta-commentate on the nature of the discussion of the topic at hand. The former is a necessary perquisite for a compelling case to be made regarding the latter.

AD is just the perfect fit in every way possible and maximises Lebrons game so much more.

On a side note I came across a video on YouTube yesterday of fizdale talking about the 2011 heat saying they only ever practiced defense and didn’t work on the offense really at all.. Well no wonder they sucked on that end in 2011 and ended up crumbling because of it... strange decision.

yeah, aw value is similar(ad's honestly been better in the playoffs so far), but what makes this a landslide is how they fit with lebron. Davis's defense is largely based around the rim which is always going to be a perimiter player's weakest point defensively and with offense he really doesn't need the ball at all.

I think 2011 DWade was the best player in a vacuum, but this fit with AD is more seamless because AD doesn't look to create his own shot as much and is more of a play finisher while also being an elite defender and a solid passer and being able to shoot. So this is like a tie to me

AD is the best by far.

2011 Wade definitely but 2020 Davis is close behind. The only two years in which LeBron played with a player more or less at the same level as him. 2011 Wade and 2020 Davis were not sidekicks, as opposed to all the other years and teammates he had. I only choose 2011 Wade over Davis because I think in a vacuum I'd rather have him as a #1 option.

Tbh, even though I see 2020 LeBron as the Lakers most important player, or engine, its not super obvious to me that he's their best player. If he is, its by a very small margin. Davis does so much for them and its really underappreciated. I've even hated on Davis quite a bit this year because I hate the way he left NO. But he's really an awesome talent, does so much on the court all around, his only weakness being that he's not really an offense creator like other elite talents.

I think 2020 Davis is a better player than 2011 Wade and he fits better with Lebron.

His playoff run thus far has been unreal.

Look dude, if you want to debate the actual topic which I’ve attempted to do with no rebuttals you can do that. If you’re going to jump into the thread and attack me that way I don’t know how else you want me to respond.

As though to emphasize the "ringzz!" bias in the mainstream, did anyone catch CWebb's reply to Reggie Miller tonight, when asked who was the best teammate Lebron's ever had?

CWebb said [slightly paraphrased]: "As of today, Davis is NOT better than Kyrie Irving; he's NOT better than Dwyane Wade. You wanna know why? Because they have that hardware. If they get there this year, then I say yeah [he's the best]."

Its probably Anthony Davis. Sure you can argue 2011 Wade but 2011 Wade was not as good of a fit as Davis. Wade and Lebron had too similar skill sets. Anthony Davis is a perfect match as a big man to Lebron.

In a vacuum I'd say 11 Wade.

But the fit is so much better with Davis. Easy stuff out there. Since I don't think the gap is big, I'll lean Davis because of the fit.

Taking 11 Wade to start a team but Davis complements Bron better so I voted for him

Mannn AD has yet to have a stinker playoff series. Even Wade had 2011 Chicago as a blemish on the resume. I think the level AD is at right now is straight up higher than Wade in 2011 at this point.

Davis's defense makes him a different calibre of player than wade frankly.

Curious who the 1 other vote is. '03 Ricky Davis? '07 Boobie Gibson? '14 Greg Oden? The suspense is killing me
