Danny Green really was atrocious tonight. My goodness. What the hell. Between him and KCP, 3-19 from 3.

Really pathetic

We could have been out there

Surprised we aren't using much of the AD and Bron pick and roll honestly, guess we don't need to fix what is working

The thing is though I think the Lakers are better off with AD getting it and being happier in the long run. Personally I don't think it matters whether LeBron gets it or not.

I think it matters to Lebron deep down if you got him to tell you the truth

I think AD knows, he isn't dumb

Let Lebron cook a bit like tonight and he will take it. I think Miami starts to double AD more, which means more scoring opps and assist opps for Lebron

After this season, it will start to get easier for AD to win fmvp and harder for Lebron (assuming they make more finals)

I don't really doubt that it does matter to LeBron. I just think he's better off with AD getting it. Then again AD may not really care at all. Who knows.

Lebrons turnovers as an improved playmaker have been great right?

Overall highest TOV% in his career in playoffs though.

LeBron. Better boxscore stats overall (30.6 v 28.5 Game Score) and basically perfect offensive game besides free throws, and it's quite hard to have better stats than AD playing against Crowder and Leonard. But AD was amazing as well.

The sick thing is that it's even a debate. Anybody has a game like either of them did, and 95 out of 100 times it's a no-brainer. I would have said AD, but LeBron was ridiculous too. It's like debating whether $100 is better in 20s or 50s. The difference is immaterial.

Stats say Lebron

AD looked more dominant because of that short stretch, but also remember he had Nunn and Crowder on him

Maybe, but I also think AD may want to keep Lebron happy and going too

AD has more shots, Lebron may not honestly

AD is already going to re sign

Bam saying he should play next game, might have a tougher game

If stats are close for both guys, the winner may come down to who can close out a close game or hit a big shot (if there is even an opportunity)

The story of this game was how AD killed the Heat on the offensive glass, 8 offensive boards and honestly felt like even more. Felt like a dad toying with his sons.

With the league downsizing AD is going to feast in the next years with the likes of Crowder / Tucker who are his primary defenders tbh

Do these transplants fade over time or something? It looked a lot better back in 2015 than it does now

In a way it's kind of disappointing everybody is reduced to arguing over who should be FMVP but that's how hopelessly outmatched this Heat team is. My guess is Spo is fully aware the zone has no hope of actually slowing down the Lakers offense, he's just going to it because it's far less taxing than man to man which is allowing them to put all of their energy into offense. It's their best chance to win but even that is going to require quite a bit of good shooting luck + bad shooting luck for the Lakers.

As far as FMVP I've got it pretty much neck and neck, maybe a slight edge to AD. It's such a good matchup for him since nobody on the Heat can hope to match him inside and on the offensive boards and he can just shoot over the top of these guys without any worry at all. Like Crowder was getting a hand up during AD's flurry of jumpers in the third but when you know the guy is too small to ever really bother your shot it's not really any different than shooting with 10 feet of space.

I'm hoping Bron ends up getting FMVP, winning one with 3 different franchises would be a great feather in his cap, but it's hard to care too much knowing the haters will manufacture excuses under any and all circumstances. They're already saying this championship doesn't count because of the bubble. Though if Lebron does get it the meltdown will be absolutely glorious so maybe I should root for it just for that

Man... LeBron and AD are straight up BULLYING these kids man... Just getting everything they want inside. How are you going to play a zone against Rondo/LeBron with 3pt shooters and you have Kelly Olynk to protect the paint... God damn, this is ugly.

One thing's for sure in the future, you need size to compete with these Lakers. Or at least special undersized players that can play bigger than they actually are like a Draymond or Covington. Otherwise it's just futile.
