Looks 46 out there. Wasn't expecting this after what he showed in preseason.

Bron's definitely better on offense this year than last year, I feel.

I think that's going to be mostly okay with this team. He'll ramp up in late March as is typical, maybe a little later with this weird start.

LaVine is even stupider. Fadeaway when you can iso against Trezz?

Lol I feel like I'm always just pleasantly surprised when Bron hits shots in the clutch. And I wonder why I never expect him to do well (the way I suppose Jordan fans just had supreme confidence in MJs inevitability) when he's proven to be a crunch time killer over and over again, then you have a night like tonight . I'll take the dub tho!

On a side note as worried as everyone is about our defense we’re still top 5

I’m not sure if we will be as good as we were in last years playoffs on defense but it’ll be improved by reasons other than effort and gelling by then.

I’m curious for the clippers because Lue is hardly a good defensive coach, and they are bottom 5 on defense I think or near that right now.

I’m hoping Schroeder makes less boneheaded passes but he’s been solid

THT gonna continue to improve too

That last long shot was incredibly stupid, but I like LeBron‘s willingness to mix it up on offense this season.

His willingness to leverage the mid range this season will pay dividends in the playoffs. Better to work out the kinks now.

The way Harrell is utilized is really gonna decide how close this team is gonna get to it’s ceiling

Harrells a good player, obvious strengths on offense but defensively he’s a good mobile 4

I just feel some of the lineups with him out there haven’t worked very well (obviously some have too).

Pretty impressive given LeBron / AD haven't left 2nd gear. This team will be something once it hits it's straps.

I don't know if he is a mobile 4

He can't stick with most 4s probably since many 3s and 4s are now the same position, just too slow, yet too small to be a 5

He constantly gets destroyed in pick and roll coverage. AD should help there, but AD hasn't cared too much on D sadly, so it is hard to to tell

Schroeder is a good man defender, but not a great team one from what I have seen

THT seems lost at times on D as well sadly

AC played some decent D today it looked like, but tough shots were being made on him

I would have loved to see this team with Dwight instead of Trez and used the mle on Justin Holiday or Avery even

Lots of time ahead, but I am hoping we start to put this all together in the next month or so

theyve been playing him at the 5 but hes been good in space, he isnt good at drop coverage but we shouldnt be running that vs most terams in general

James begins the year at the top of the Kia MVP Ladder: https://www.nba.com/news/kia-mvp-ladder-jan-8-2021-edition

There definitely seems to be some momentum for him to win if the Lakers are the top seed and no one else is hugely impressive. I personally would still give him a < 50% chance of winning, just because this season is so weird, but this is an encouraging sign.
