But isn't contribution to team potentially winning what it is all about, rather than just posting stats?

I would have Webber bottom 3 on this list, Draymond top 3. Hard to pick between Gasol, McHale, Green for impact; Brand #4 (just for peak). Then some combination of Griffin, Webber, Kemp all of whom had strong impact but not quite as strong. I agree Aldridge comes up last though he was a very good player.

Green seems to be underrated here, for a number of years he was the best defender in the league and had some of the best impact data in the league i think he should be 1st or 2nd with maybe only McHale ahead. Some of these names he's just clearly better than.

Depends what definition of peak is. Most players' peaks are their best statistical season, usually just one season. Webber was the #1 guy and undisputed star of those early 2000s Kings teams, particularly 2001 and 02, were great and so was Webber. McHale had Bird, Kemp had Payton, Gasol had Kobe in LA and didn't win much in Memphis, Griffin had CP and Draymond had Curry.

I am much lower on Chris Webber, even in Sacramento, than most. Maybe because I was a Wizards fan and he never played up to his talent in Washington. He was a super talented player but all these players had good seasons on good teams (or in Brand's case, on mediocre teams).

I'm not a fan of how Webber performed for his career, as he underachieved, he had the talent to be a top 25 player ever I thought back then, but his peak season I think is the best of all these players given the circumstances.
