Gasol +17 in 17 minutes

Drummond -11 in 21 minutes

Lakers didn't score a field goal in the last 1.5 quarters without Gasol on the floor

Man, to think I vouched for that guy.

Now I would pay money to have him shipped away in a shipping crate back to Cleveland. I have officially reached worst case scenario point with him. “At least he was kept away from the Nets and Clippers”, rock bottom.

Never has my mind flipped on a player so fast.

Hopefully he can be salvaged as a rebounder/token contributor in the playoffs.

Lakers offensive flow and spacing is night and day with Gasol. Get that man back in the starting line up. Worst part about tonight is Vogel only used Gasol because Drummond was in foul trouble :nonono:

The unfortunate thing is Gasol was actually balling out long before Drummond was signed but it tends to take a while for a narrative to change. Didn't think Drummond was coming to be a 3rd star. Might actually be a poor man's Javale.

He'll be lucky to see 10m in the coming free agency. He's getting brutally exposed on the big stage. No point denying reality at this stage. Even Harrell plays better on both ends. Gasol should get those minutes and whoever is left can play tic tac toe over the rest

He’s always been exposed and the more the game changed the more he got exposed. Any GM who spends cap space on him should be summarily fired.

Marc Gasol + 17
Drummond - 11

No surprise there...

I honestly hate watching Drummond on the team. I would take Howard over him in a second. Holy hell the difference in IQ between those two on defense is night and day. Also I'd rather play a washed up Gasol because it's still 2x better than Drummond and is dumb ass playing.

Dude thinks he's Hakeem in the post...Isn't he shooting like a subpar 45% on layups or something. Also on defense he sucks. Yeah occasionally he makes a good steal but i swear i think i've seen him contest a shot like two times. Dude seems to have no clue of positioning on both sides. But it was a no brainer taking a chance on this bum. Need Lebron to put a gun to his head honestly since he is the Tony Soprano of this league and tell this dude to rebound and defend.

Still very high on THT. Yeah i know with Lebron it's win now mode but im glad we didn't trade for Lowry. I think THT can become really good in 2-3 years. Hopefully by then we have other pieces to form a fun team.

i dont know why Drummond would get even that... there is no functional difference between him and Whiteside who was on a min

LeBron’s Regular Season Starting lineups, 2007–2021
Note: NBA.com doesn’t have lineup data before 2008

2015: Mozgov/Love/James/Smith/Irving, 116.2 ORtg, 95.8 DRtg, +20.4
2009: BigZ/Ben/James/Mo/West, 113.3 ORtg, 93.8 DRtg, +19.4
2009: BigZ/AndyV/James/Mo/West, 113.5 ORtg, 100.1 DRtg, +13.4
2013: Hashem/Bosh/James/Wade/Chalmers, 110.5 ORtg, 97.2 DRtg, +13.2
2021: Gasol/AD/James/KCP/Schroeder, 116.9 ORtg, 103.7 DRtg, +13.2
2011: BigZ/Bosh/James/Wade/Arroyo, 112.8 ORtg, 99.8 DRtg, +13.0
2020: McGee/AD/James/Green/Bradley, 114.0 ORtg, 101.4 DRtg, +12.6
2016: TT/Love/James/Smith/Kyrie, 116.1 ORtg, 103.4 DRtg, +12.6
2012: Anthony/Bosh/James/Wade/Chalmers, 107.6 ORtg, 96.6 DRtg, +11.0
2007: BigZ/Gooden/James/Pavloic/Hughes, +10.0
2008: BigZ/Golden/James/Pavlovic/Gibson, 111.6 ORtg, 102.1 DRtg, +9.5
2018: Love/James/Crowder/Smith/Calderon, 113.3 ORtg, 103.3 DRtg, +7.0
2014: Bosh/James/Battier/Wade/Chalmers, 110.9 ORtg, 104.5 DRtg, +6.5
2017: TT/Love/James/Smith/Kyrie, 118.2 ORtg, 112.7 DRtg, +5.4
2019: McGee/James/Ingram/Kuzma/Ball, 104.5 ORtg, 105.1 DRtg, -.6
2010: Shaq/Hickson/James/Parker/Williams, 104 ORtg, 109.5 DRtg, -5.5

2010—pairing fat and old Shaq with “monster negative” Hickson in the front court. The wasting of God like motor and force of nature LeBron with this type of gross incompetence is astounding. Things might have turned out differently if analytics were used as much then.

2011 was not that good. I don’t buy that. Is this RS or both RS+PS?

The 2011 Heat were one of the better regular season teams for LeBron. 58 Wins, 6.76 SRS. After starting 9-8 the team finished 49-16.

I had to do a double take. I DO NOT remember them winning 58 games LOL.

I remember them starting 9-8, and I remember them getting wrecked in regular season series vs their conference rivals in the Celtics and Bulls that year, only to slap them 4-1 each in the playoffs.

That said, I’m still surprised they’re ranked that high on this list.

The more I look back at that season the more I think of how big of a fluke and **** up it was not winning. They legitimately had the #1 and #2 basketball players in the world on the same team.

They were 9-8, but they also showed dominance in some games and showed the potential they had with better offense.

First 17 games overall: 108.2 ORtg, 102 DRtg, +6.0

Next 22 games: 21-1, 111.0 ORtg, 98.1 DRtg, +12.9

First 39 games:

BigZ/Bosh/James/Wade/Arroyo: 113.1 ORtg, 99.1 DRtg, +14.0

Was the Lowry trade really happening though or was that smoke and mirrors? I HIGHLY doubt THT was stopping Pelinka.

Also, Jesus can you imagine if LeBron's antivax bull derails him from winning a title in 2021? lmaooo

Honestly, I didn't expect this vaccine stuff from LeBron. I thought he would be more progressive on this stuff, and be a leader. I don't really understand him here. Unless he's worried about the vaccine interacting with his ahem performance boosters.

It would be absolutely awful if he has to sit two weeks in the middle of the playoffs.

Wade was not the #2 player in the world at the time, no way.

Yeah at this point it ain't even about being anti vax or something, but if he misses a series because he refuses to take the vaccine as one of the two players on his entire team, that has to be a 'blemish' against him. Come on, if for nothing else how do you not take the vaccine just so you are not missing an entire series. Like imagine you have to miss the conference finals or the Finals. What's the end game there?
