11-15 on the GOAT List

It seems like Duncan, Wilt, Russell, MJ, Magic, LBJ, Bird, Shaq, KAJ are all consensus top 10 players. Hakeem seems to be the next one. But, many posters have other guys in their top 10-which is fair, of course, However, I would find it hard to see any of these guys not on a top 15 list.

So, whether they are 11-15 or slip into the top 10, who are the other 5 on a top 15 list?

I’ve generally had Kobe, KG, West, Oscar and Dr J in some order. I’m starting to think Dirk should maybe bump out one of them out, likely either West or the Doctor.

Voted - KG, Oscar, Kobe, Dirk.

I have KG considerably higher than 11th, easy pick for me here. Oscar/Kobe are guys I have fighting for top 10 with guys like Bird. Dirk I see a half step ahead of the rest for 14th. Not sure who'd be my 15th so didn't vote for one.

I have Garnett and Robertson in my top ten. I'm considering pushing West into that territory as well.

Bit below that is Dr.J and Nowitzi. Kobe is in the same tier but I think Dirk is a bit more consistent.

Garnett had more votes than Bird for #10 on this board, so IDK about consensus.

I have Garnett in my top 10 and after this year it looks like Curry could be right at the edge.

My top-10 is: M.Jordan / K.Abdul-Jabbar / L.James / W.Chamberlain / T.Duncan / S.O'Neal / M.Johnson / L.Bird / B.Russell / K.Bryant.
And for the 11th - 15th I've got H.Olajuwon / O.Robertson / J.West / K.Garnett / D.Nowitzki.
But both K.Durant and S.Curry have a shot at making the top-15, IF they have 2/3 really good seasons and win a couple of MVP's, Rings...

His offensive game slipped a good bit in the playoffs or otherwise most would have him higher. His longevity also isn’t as good as a lot of these other names.

I liked Robinson alot and watched him play in his career but noone would rate him anywhere near top ten because his production level/numbers went down when Duncan arrived and so longevity is not good and the thing that drops him the most is playoff performance. The guy had his moments but just didn't step up often enough and had a few below his average performances. In context, his teams were pretty woeful but he raised them so well during regular seasons that not doing that every playoffs as well is an obvious stain on him.

His peak, again in context with his team situation, is among the best ever. From 1994-96 at least, he was performing at arguably top ten e ever level, comparing best the years of careers, like done in the Greatest Peaks videos.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Shaq this low.
