Post#1 » by TroubleS0me » Tue Oct 19, 2021 8:53 am

Top 3 MVP Candidate last season
arguably had his best season in the 20-21
can he do it again?
will the Warriors make the playoffs?

His off-ball movement is electrifying. He is the central piece to the most beautiful basketball played in the NBA.

All of us as fans need to be mindful of his uniqueness--no player is ever going to replicate anything near what Curry has been able to do.

Having a team that can win games when he has one of those stinker shooting performances is quite nice and to me looks like a playoff berth. Other than the shotmaking I thought he looked pretty good last night, one or two bonehead defensive plays.
I bought a boat.

There were some inexplicably dumb turnovers, but otherwise it was a pretty typical Staples game from Steph. I won't read much into it.

I think they def make the playoffs this year, might be a first round out, but these guys have championship pedigree. As for Curry, watch out for another MVP type season.

This might be the most offensive depth that he's played with in his career. I expect historic offensive numbers this year for this team.

His movement just creates so many openings for his teammates. Bjelica probably hasn't seen straight line drives to the rim his whole career and now you see he can put the ball on the floor and make plays off of it, it's beautiful. Euro league MVP Bjelica is going to have a career year.

Mann played some of the best defense on Curry I've ever seen but man does it take a toll on a defender to face guard and deny a guy who never stops moving and you can't give an inch of space to. He played as well as he could but gave just a bit of daylight toward the end, which was all Curry needed.

That whole clippers perimeter defense is tough. They got a bunch of ball hounding defenders that they have out there and they were covering a ton of ground on defense.

The Clippers terrify me in the playoffs. Lue is aggressive and quick to make necessary adjustments in his gameplan. Kerr, by comparison, is more conservative and I could see Lue getting the Clippers a commanding lead real quick.

Curry is so fun to watch, amazing talent, what’s with him grabbing rebounds like he’s a power forward lol nice to see.

I just saw Curry's TS% has cratered by 6.5% this year and 7.1% on FG, 4.6% on 3 point shooting, 7% on eFG% and 8.8% of 2p%. It's pretty massive drops for him. Luckily his team is carrying through. The cliff might have arrived sooner than we expected as many were saying few months ago he can play till 45 because how good of a shooter he is.
