With KD and Green talking about double teams on Twitter, I'd like to remind everyone:

overall steph obviously had a great game.. 34 points with great efficiency. and it would be viewed very differently (rightfully so? not rightfully so? not sure) if it was basically flipped in time (quiet until a monster Q4). but he really struggled scoringwise after the first quarter. defensive tightened out, credit to them (and was obviously awful in the 1st Q)

I think benching him at the start of the 2nd was a mistake. He played the first and was red hot. Why take him out of rhythm?

Started the game 7-9 and then went 5-16 the rest of the way.

Curry had a great game overall, but Celtics quickly adjusted in the second half. I can't wait to see the rest of the series.

Kerr's too rigid with his rotations.

It's one of his flaws.

As great as the Warriors are, Steph and the others to some extent have a tendency to get cocky and dance and wiggle and show boat when they think they're up. Very unlikeable from everyone who does it, and i think everyone (who's not a warriors fan) watching it backfire at them had himself a little laugh.

Game wise, i still feel bad about Klay's shot selection. He sometimes seems so desperate to "get back into it" that he just takes dumb selfish shots that arent typical for their passing game. He can out right deflate their energy. Also Poole played pretty bad and selfish. I mean i get it that guys choke when they are on the big stage for the first time; i'd probably not be able to hold on to the ball at all. But chucking away shots when quality decisions are needed? I dunno.

People really do miss what Steph is able to do on offense by allowing the warriors to play defensive players that no other superstar or team would be able to play for significant minutes.

I dont consider Wiggins, Poole or Klay to be defensive players.

This also isn't unique to Steph--players like Nash, Jokic, CP3 and LeBron could optimize similar players [OPJ and GPII].

I disagree.

One of Kerrs hallmarks is picking at and finding the weakness of an opposing defense over the course of a quarter/game/series. This strategy is significantly easier to employ when you have cohesion among line-ups.

OPJ is the type of player all superstars can optimize.

GP2, Draymond, Iguodala are not. Not many teams can have a non 3 point threat from the wings or a player teams just completely ignore.

And yes Wiggins is absolutely a defensive player. He's our best wing defender and 2nd most important defender. If you mean a defensive only player then yes I agree.

also add Looney.

I'll add to that -- the Warriors got more years out of Livingston than they should have been able to because of Steph. Not many teams had the personnel to use their non-shooting wing initiator in the post.

2 games into the Finals and Steph slicing apart the best defense in the league with their DPOY guard. Love to see it

this team is pretty flat...a lot like 2019 final teams without KD and Klay.
Draymond is toast and Klay/Poole is not giving us enough.
