THT has such awful vision. I can't stand watching him play.

Hilarious that Vogel waited until late in the third quarter to finally play Dwight.

Ok 74-103. Westbrook in without Monk and Bradley. Let us see what happens..

Yeah there's a reason he was a 2nd round pick. It's amazing how many people considered him to be a potential star, I'm not convinced he's ever going to be a useful rotation player for a contender. He's still only 21 but at this point he's a very bad shooter with a decent handle and creative right hand finishes but pretty much no playmaking to speak of, who's just a meh defensive player.

+5 in 2 minutes so far. Hopefully Vogel does not bring in both Monk and Bradley. Just stick with these guys (add in LeBron and Stanley).

As I always said THT has been A way bigger problem than Westbrook. IDT even AD can save these guys.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

This loss is even more disappointing because the Nuggets, Clippers and Mavs all won today. Bad day in the standings for the Lakers.

That 2min stretch had dwight. plus no lineup with THT and Russ on isnt better than either of monk and bradley. This is lineup randomness. One team goes +5 another +10. We could pick any random sample to prove points if we pick and choose

Let's be realistic about what we're watching . Why do you even like russ so much? you hated drummond but love westbrook? those guys are iq brothers.

Lol nice reality check. A team with no size and Westbrook and THT in its rotation ain't winning ****.

I didn't just retroactively pick a piece of time, I predicted it. It's different.

Anyway, not really enough time to properly see it. I think my argument is clear. Memphis have big wings, perhaps the biggest wings in the NBA depth wise (Tyus is their one weakness in size). All of them could play SF comfortably. Lakers wings like Bradley, Monk, Ellington can barely defend SG and they couldn't get any scoring going inside.

I don't like Russ, I've just ran enough stats on the Lakers to see what the issue in the game was. One glaring issue was Russ's turnovers but historically he always begins to clean them up over a season as he gets used to teammates. The other main issue is size, Lakers are too small and it impacts rebounding and inside scoring (strengths of the old team).

Small ball isn't meant to be small at all positions, Russ has great size and athleticism for a small ball PG. He could be an SG. Monk and Bradley are just too small together, you could get away with one of them playing if opponent has a small PG.

Hyper efficient 35 points for LeBron tonight. It’s not all bad. Now 723 points behind Malone all time. 27 games away if he averaged 27 ppg. (Up to 28.9 ppg on the season now).

35 points on 83% TS and he ends the game a -30 lol. Has something like this ever even happened before?

It'll be interesting to see how people look back on this season for LeBron. By my eye this is some of the best ball he's played in a Lakers uniform. I thought the same about 2018 but there are people who don't even have that as a top 10 season for him because his advanced stats were hurt by his situation

it's random as hell because the starting point of that sample came with Ja coming out of the game for tyus jones. They then had koncar, tillman, clarke on the floor, garbage time lineup. This is why we dont use +/-. I mean Lebron was a team worst -30 so was he the biggest problem for the lakers tonight?

LeBron moved to 7th all-time in assists. Should easily get to 4th all-time before he retires. #1 in points and #4 in assists would be wild.

Russ needs to develop some more counters to improve his finishing around the rim. Throws it up way too haphazardly and doesn't utilize the glass at proper angles (which is funny because of his penchant to use it on elbow jump shots). Seems unrealistic for him to add a floater to his game at this point though, let's be honest.
