No need for so many bigs and Duncan should start over O'Neal [Wade over James too].

I guess you didn't even spend a second to read the OP. And I clearly started Duncan together with O'Neal.

Garnett is better than O'Neal though and so is Duncan, plus Garnett adds tons of versatility defensively.

Don't mind my team. I selected my team to play at 90s rules as clearly stated in the OP.
Now look at your team. More specifically look at the frontcourt rotation. You're picking Millsap, Whiteside, Green and Davis to battle against Barkley, Malone, Robinson and Ewing? LOLLL

1) Lets be mature enough not to LOL without attempting to understand a different view point or idea.
I picked a team that can run, defend Jordan effectively and will shoot something in the vein of 10x as many 3 point shots. I see that as a clear advantage for the 2016 team.

Re: Pick a year to beat the Dream Team
Not post 1992 (missed that the first read through) but . . .
1969
Wilt/W. Reed
Russell/Lucas
Havlicek/Cunningham
West/Earl Monroe
Oscar/Frazier
One of the only PGs who can be as physical as Magic as well as punish his defense with West and Frazier to try to help limit Jordan's damage. Havlicek at the wing can also swing back to Jordan, he's the 4th option offensively but makes anyone guarding him burn energy with his GOAT motor. Inside Russell and Wilt will have to work out playing together but Wilt can physically bully Drob (well, anyone except maybe Shaq) while Russell, even in his final season, still stops Barkley and Malone arguably better than anyone in history. Reserves aren't as clear except that Frazier will be my 3rd guard but Monroe proved he can play a secondary role as well as a star one, Cunningham is physically tough and also later proved he can play point forward as well as more traditional finisher. Lucas gives a true outside threat at one of the big spots, Reed is also capable of playing some outside as well as inside.
